Most seasoned Vegas Visitors book everything themselves individually. That probably applies to most venues. If you are a regular you know what you want and how to arrange it. By booking yourself you have more options, and if you have time will usually get a better rate in Las Vegas.

Here is a place to start looking for discounts, although it may be a little early yet for the best promotions:

BTW: This is not a 3rd party. You book directly through the hotel using a promotional code.

Be sure to check out Allegiant.com. I have never found any other combinations as cheap as them if they are at an airport near you. I am going in April for a week for 620dollars ,flight and week at Ballys. It has since gone up to 775dollars but still a good buy.

Smarter Vegas is OK, always good to check what they have. Go on the Casino/Hotel websites first and check their rates. Then check the airlines separately for just the airfares. Then see if the airlines have Package Deals. Do the Math however you want. Southwest is darn good on their combo deals. I could only beat them if I had decent Comp room rates coming to me from the Casinos. I haven't found either Expedia, Orbitz or Travelocity to do any better than I could do on my own. Then again you can't book on SW with them, you can only book SW on their website.

if you are looking at the july 4th time frame it makes a big difference than another july weekend. We check all options...individual air and hotel from TA, hotels.com, the hotel sites, airline sites, log them down, compare and recheck and recheck. no single option is always best...airfare deals are usually put out on tuesdays and will be sold out before the day is done. hotels vary depending on what events are occurring. just a lot bulldog drive gets you the best deals. hotels can be booked, cancels and re-booked without penalty from their direct websites so this option is preferred..airlines are another matter.

You might want to check out Funjet also. We got a really good deal for 3 nights w/air for a little under $600 total for both of us! Can't beat that! But then again, I guess it depends on where you are flying out of too. Actually now the price has gone up almost $200 and I am sure it has to do with the airfare prices increasing. Plus, you do have to keep in mind that weekend in rates are MUCH higher too. We are actually traveling Sun thru Wed. Good luck with your search.

There is no right answer for everyone.

You need to look at the options. Some departure airports are alot cheaper than others when booking packages. Check hotels websites and sites like expedia for hotel/flight combinations.
