So it's Wed March 15th. Woke up around 10:00am I think I should have slept more I was really tired but around three I perked up. We went to the forum shops and ate at the Cheescake factory. I am sure many people have eaten at one of these before but I never have. No menu should be this long.....It can take a afternoon just to pick a drink! The wait wasnt long only like a half hour. I finally choose the Fried Macaroni and Cheese Balls for a app. OMG they were so good. I had a strawberry daiquiri which was the best I had the entire time I was in Vegas. My main course I had the Romano crusted chicken. I ate two bites and wrapped the rest to go. The portions here are huge! No cheesecake, I could'nt even stomach the thought.
So we walked into the art gallery next door. I can't think of his name Christian something or other everyone has seen his paitings in posters. They are the bright ocean with dolphin pictures. Well jokingly I call my Mom Mrs Got Rocks because of all the jewelry she wears so they flock to her like no tomorrow. The sales guy would not set her free it was scary. Finally I told him my dad would have to take a look and he said well where is he go get him. My parents are divorced so I told him he was gambling and we would be back. This man was scary. We went next door and I had my picture taken in a race car at the exotic car place. We watched the Atlantis show which was really cool. It is a free show with these statues that look real and they tell a story of how Atlantis fell. We went into the stores. Unless you are living large I can't imagine it would appeal to many. My Mom really liked this beach hat in I think it was Channel. It was $370. Yeah right. I almost bought a top at Bebe but they did'nt have my size. Well we played a few minutes in CP and went upstairs to change for Prime and "O".
I valet park the car at Bellagio even though we were just coming from CP but I had high rhinestone heels on and there was no way I was truckin over there and back. So we pick up our tickets at "O" and head to Prime I had a 8:30 reservation. Well you walk down the stairs and your first impression is this is going to be good. They are on the ball here. They were running a little behind so the hostess got my Mom and I a drink on the house we got cable cars. EVERYONE ORDER THIS DRINK!!!!!!!! It was the best tasting drink I have ever had. Don't ask me what's in it but I had it the next night at CP and they don't make it the same as Prime. It was sweet with a tad bit of sour to it. So we sit about twenty minutes late and the tables are beautiful. Everything is simple they use calla lillies alot which I find elegant and small roses on the tables everything is fresh. So we have Cesaer salad and the dressing is perfection. The bread they give you is to die for! We both have the porterhouse steak and a side of mashed pot. You will never have potato's like this again folks. Smooth and creamy! The steak was out of this world. The only thing negative I could say about this place is it does go slow. It was 10:15 and we had to tell our waiter we had to be on our way to catch "O" which started at 10:30. I would'nt mind the slowness of the meal if I had the time. I really enjoyed the experience and will go back to Prime every time I go to Las Vegas. The meal with two drinks (we had four all together but two were free) was $150.00. I had a $75.00 gift certificate a co worker bought me for x-mas. So with tip this meal cost me a little under a hundred dollars and to be honest I would have paid $300. ( I hope nobody from Bellagio reads that, no need to up on the prices) :)
We had last row in orchestra for "O" and I thought they were the best seats in the house. You don't want to be too close because a lot happens above the stage and if your too close you will miss stuff. Balcony probably would not have been bad either. I really have no idea what this show was about I picked up on some guy chasing a girl but I don't care it was the coolest thing to see. The divers, dancers, flame throwers, clowns and anyone else I missed were great!!! Very fun to watch!!! Would I see it again? No, once was plenty but I think everyone should see it once. They took pictures of me and my mom and I did get suckered into buying one but it is a neat keepsake.
We played at Bellagio for a few hours after the show. I was not too impressed. I did'nt win I think I played for a few hours and lost $40 not bad but I did'nt really think the decor was anything special and it looked a little warn. I think it is in need of a little updating. Old school games too. So it was off to bed after eating my leftover cheesecake factory. Probably the best day in Vegas!
OK guys that's it for tonight more tomorrow we have three days left! And tomorrow I saw Celine!
