Buying Absinthe Tickets In Advance?

We'd quite like to get our Absinthe tickets before we arrive. By doing that we'll know we have them and don't have to budget for them while we're there. We're not fussed about getting fancy seats.

They're $110.80 each going through the Caesars Palace website. Can we get them cheaper anywhere else?

Thanks.

There are no fancy seats. It's quite a small theatre. There are VIP seats that put you in particular spots, give you a free drink and ensure you are most likely to be picked on. At $110 it looks like you're getting the VIP unless that's just the full price of the regular seats with all the taxes and fees. I know you don't want to, but you can buy regular seats when you get there for about $60-70.

Cbub is right...other than VIP (which are not any closer than others), all seats are "general admission." $110 is high for that show since tix should be in the $60 range.

Btw, if it WERE $110, it would be worth it...it is a great show, one of my personal top 3 on the Strip.

$110 seems to be the regular seats at full price. If we can get them for $60 70 in advance it would be better but at that sort of saving we would wait!

Cheaper elsewhere. There is a code out there for $20 off per ticket from Ticket master...basically it pays for Ticketmaster fees. Should run you about 79 of so per ticket for General Admission. A bit more for VIP seating so that is probably what you are looking at purchasing.

The ONLY advantage for VIP seating is the admission line is shorter as they get to enter the tent first. Otherwise all of the seats are pretty much great.

We prepurchased also because it was the only show we agreed we HAD to see while in Vegas. Seeing the empty seats, we didn't have to...there were tickets to be had at the venue.

The VIP tickets get you in 1st. But you could still get the same seats by just purchasing the regular priced tickets. You can get a $20 coupon near the ticket office on the day of the show from one of the performers that hands out the coupons. The ticket office/booth is outside of Caesars Palace - just a small little ticket booth. Its a great show - just be forewarned the language to some is a little crude. Enjoy!

Wait til you get there and buy them at the half price place...they won't be half price but cheaper than regular price and you can't go wrong anywhere you sit for this show.

Apparently, Absinthe is starting a new ticket / seating policy:

"Performances Through April 22

$79 plus tax - GENERAL ADMISSION

$109 plus tax - VIP (includes complimentary drink)

Performances April 24 Onward

$89 plus tax - RESERVED SEATING; including stylized seating clusters around the perimeter of the tent

$119 plus tax - VIP RESERVED SEATING; 2nd and 3rd rowseating with complimentary split of Moet champagne

$169 plus tax - VVIP ; 1st rowcushioned seat with complimentary split of Moet champagne "

We are just going to wait until we get there and hopefully get a $20 off coupon as I keep reading that it is rarely full.

I see that deal extends beyond April.

There was a discount code on the Absinthe website which is no longer there so the $20 coupon handed out near the venue seems to be the best option and avoids the evil Ticketmaster fees.

Las Vegas Advisor has a link to discount tickets. GA = $78 including taxes.
