coming to Vegas for 5 night the begining of May, and need some show idea's? here's what I've seen and hated/loved

I've seen cirque du Soleil and O and found them pretty dull ( how many times can you watch someone jump from 20m onto the stage?!)

Danny Gans (Ganz?)

Lady Gaga

David Copperfield

Barry Manilow

It looks a pretty quiet week, but any outstanding recommendations?

THere's a number of Las Vegas 'production type' shows you might enjoy. Vegas The Show, Peepshow,

Carrot Top

Comedy Clubs (I've gone to the one at Harrah's and it was very good)

I use lasvegas.com to see what's playing while I'm in vegas.

One of my favorite shows is Frankie Moreno:

I first saw Frankie Moreno and his band a number of years ago at the Irish Pub in the Orleans. I was blown away by his talent, and I always try to see him when I am in Las Vegas. He is an amazing composer, keyboard player, and singer. He has collaborated with many world-renowned musicians and toured/co-headlined with SugarLand, Air Supply, and others. He has also conducted orchestras around the world. He is now a headliner at the Stratosphere with an expanded 10-piece band at 8 p.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays for $29.99 ($19.99 for locals and Stratosphere guests).

Penn & Teller are pretty good.

I'd suggest against Blue Man Group. It was just OK, not worth the price.

DO NOT see Criss Angel.

Le REve was simply amazing to me but it might fall along your Cirque experience. I got bored half way through Blue Man Group. Peepshow was funny and a really fun show when we saw it last year. Plus you get to see boobies at the end! :)

I agree with ReaderPat about Frankie Moreno - freshest act Vegas has for sure.

Other ideas:

Santana at House of Blues

Elton John at Caesars

Jersey Boys

Carrot Top

Bill Maher

George Wallace

Vinnie Favorito

I'll be heading to Laughlin and check out Tony Bennett at Harrah's outdoor ampitheater 5/4.
