Hotels near the Excalibur Hotel & Casino

i

I am arriving in Las Vegas on Thursdat 3rd May. Ist night at Excalibur Hotel & Casino is only around $40 but price jumps to $200 for the Sat night 5th May. Why is this so? As a single traveller, this is a bit expensive. Have friends staying at Excalibur Hotel & Casino, so want somewhere near there . Can anyone suggest an another place to stay nearby. ALso looking for tickets to Super Cross for Sat 5th May

On strip in that area Excal is usually your cheapest best. you could go off strip but that wouldn't keep you close.

Excal is actually the cheapest I've seen for that night, on strip at least. Weekends are usually more expensive, but that particular date is a quadruple whammy of big events, SuperCross being one of them. Good luck.

Kentucky Derby & Cinco de Mayo are that day too. Not too big in of themselves for a Vegas crowd, but any excuse to get away from the weekend will increase occupancy at the hotels!

Try doing a general expedia hotel search to see what's available....although I would only use that as a guide. Check out the actual property's website to see if the rate is the same or cheaper, and book there (unless there's a promotion on expedia).

Even hooters is over $200 and Circus Circus is well over $100. downtown hotels all well over $100. I think you're just as well off to stay with what you've got.

Hooters is $200 also. I checked Terribles since you mentioned motocross which is at the Thomas and Mack. Sold out. We are staying at lvh for a lee's event, sold out. Basically, things that usually aren't full are sold out.

Book soon.

Like others have said, you probably won't find a cheaper hotel than Excalibur nearby with the exception of Hooters which is a little off the strip. There are some promo codes on smartervegas.com/hotels/excalibur/promotiona… that list the rates as $28/Thurs, $120/Fri, and $176/Sat. I know that is not a huge savings and that is in a standard Tower room, but it might be something.

You have many factors against you for May 5.

It is only 6 days away.

It is a Saturday.

It is Cinco De Mayo

I believe there is a big boxing match at MGM that night

Supercross in town as well

Does the $40 rate you got quoted for Thursday at excaliber include the $25 /night resort fee? If not, then your price is actually $65.
