Best Dining Deals

The wife and I will be in Vegas later this month. We will be staying at the Golden Nugget, but will travel the strip by public transportation.

What are the best dining deals available. Any food-moderate price range. Just can't pass up specials!

Thanks in advance-Daytraveler

For lunch, you can't beat Milos at the Cosmopolitan. It is an upscale, elegant and very expensive (for dinner) restaurant that offers a bargain lunch. Three delicious courses for only $20.12. You can ask to be seated on its lovely enclosed terrace with some tables overlooking the strip/CCenter.

Sounds like Ellis Island is right up your ally. For under $10 dollars you can get a steak dinner with sides and a beer. If you sign up for their card you can get points on the slot machines and use it to reduce the cost of your meal.

EI is about three blocks behind Bally's. An easy walk.

If you're in Vegas on the weekends, Border Grille has an awesome Saturday and Sunday brunch for $29.95/person with tapas and for only $5 more you can have all you can drink mimosas. The food is delish!

Also, sign up for restaurant.com and they often have discounts savings and you can purchase gift certificates for restaurants fairly cheap and plan it out that way. FIRST food and bar is on there and well worth it!

I also have heard about Milo's as referenced above and that's supposed to be amazing and the lunch, the deal of all deals.

Dollar Menu at McDonalds.

As mentioned above, Ellis Island - ask for the off menu steak special or get an ACG and use the 2 for 1 coupon.

Print out the Fremont Street Experience coupon sheet (or get one from their office once in Vegas) for 2 for 1 buffets at MSS and Fremont.

$1 Nathens hot dogs at Mermaids (along with the $1 deep fried twinkies).

For a nicer higher end porterhouse steak, the Flame at El Cortez using either the 50% off ACG coupon or a R.com certificate.

Since you'll be downtown anyway, Binion's cafe would work well for you. If you sign up for their players card, you can get a chili dog and fries for $3.99.
