bday dinner

Looking to take my friend out when we get into vegas for an all u can eat bday dinner. looking to have lobster, crab legs, etc. I was there 15 years ago and went a little off the strip to some large casino where they had all u can eat for maybe 25-30$. not sure. it was a buffet type of deal... looking for about the 30-40 range.

thanks!

also, what's the cost to get a cab to the strip.. have a rental car but not sure where exactly i'll be staying and don't want to look for parking /pay for it , if we don't stay on the strip.

thanks in advance!

I love this question. If you don't know where you are staying how can anyone know the price of a cab to the strip! Sorry but it made me giggle.

There are lots of good buffets around but someone else will be able to advise you as I don't eat sea food so I don't know which is the best for lobster etc. Have a good trip.

I always rent a car in Vegas and rarely pay for parking (except when I drive downtown).

Seafood buffet at Rio comes to mind. I think it's $40/45

from Ann Arbor to the Strip will be very expensive plus a huge tip, maybe take a plane? The seafood buffet at the Rio is the only one with lobster daily and I'm not even sure how big they are but most likely very small.Bally's Sterling Brunch is another option but that's near $100/pp

"Is there free parking at the rio?"

"All of the casinos or hotels with casinos offer free parking."

There is also a free shuttle to Rio from certain CET properties. And a free shuttle from Bills to Gold Coast (next door to Rio).
