Nice low key Hotel

We are meeting our children in Vegas to celebrate our anniversary. We want to arrive ahead and spend one on one quiet time .Looking for a resonable priced nice hotel, casino and pool are not needed. We have mobility issues so a small place is a plus

Do you need to be on the strip or is an OFF strip hotel ok with you.

If you are looking for clean and basic on the strip (with a great location), check out Bills Gambling hall. It is a small hotel with 300-400 rooms (only 4 floors) located between Flamingo and Ballys. Easy access in/out. Smaller casino that you do not have to walk through if you are just interested in getting from the parking garage to check-in to the elevators to the rooms. It has no pool, but access to the Flamingo pool.

I stayed two weeknights at Bills in January for $40/night. No resort fees either.

Flamingo would be good. Also MGM, yes I know it is big, big but you could manage. Check it out.

Off the strip Red Rock Casino is excellent. There are activities for kids as well as adults - there are movie theaters on site; bowling alley; nice swimming pool; reasonably priced buffet (versus high price on the strip). There are fast food restaurants as well as some nicer ones. It close enough to go outside and enjoy the nearby Red Rock Canyon area (go early in the morning though before it gets too hot in the day). Its away from thee busy strip area - so it has more of a family and local feel at the casino. All in all - its one of my favorite in the Las Vegas area as lots to do there and things are reasonably priced.

And given its very close to the freeway, its just a short 15 minute drive to the Strip to see that for part of the time you are there.

Getting into the place is much easier than the larger casinos - i.e. mobility issues. You can park close enough to the elevators; go into the hotel; and go to your room. Let them know when you book the room (if you decide to stay there). So many of the huge casinos are just plain walking nightmares.

This one is small enough to offer a lot to do for all - while still making it easy to get around.

There are of course motels etc. in Las Vegas without the casino which may also be an option. Have a good time.

I agree about the Red Rock. Also the M Resort is very nice and quieter than the strip. For both, you would need a car.

I would try any of the 3 Hilton Grand Vacation Clubs. They are non-gaming & are in beautiful, peaceful settings.

On strip? Bills.

Off strip, I might look at one of the non-casino chain hotels such as Hyatt Place of Holiday Inn Express. Much easier to get in, out and around than the big resorts.

Like Shannon says, the Hilton Grand Vacation clubs are nice.

I just got back from one. I even had "temporary mobility issues" because I had been horseback riding and I was still a bit wobbly and I had no problems getting around.

Maybe they will waive their silly $8 parking fee for you?
