I'll usually give it another twenty to see if it is on streak. I will usually move on after that. I might check it out again later though--usually with less than stellar results, but I can't resist.

I do exactly what ndfan said..see if it is on a hot streak then move on. But usually I give it a go again at some point usually after finding I can't get anything else to go at all.

You need to understand that each "pull" on a slot machine is what is called and "independent event." Whatever has happened at any time before has absolutely ZERO influence on what will happen in any subsequent transaction. Same as with a roulette wheel.

You are just as likely to hit 2 consecutive million dollar jackpots on the same machine as on two different machines on consecutive pulls.

It just don't matter !!

I cash out and run. In less sane times, I have lost it all back into the same machine!!

Ditto what Placebets stated, but I am weird enough that I always play it at least once after a good hit and sometimes up to $10 or $15 but never more. I've had times in the past that I thought it would hit again and promptly lost all my winnings so decided "don't be greedy" and be glad for the amount I've won :)

We were playing at Bellagio one night a couple of years ago, and my wife got a hit for $360 on a $1 Top Dollar machine. She cashed the ticket, put in another $20, and got the same hit on the first spin. As Placebets said, it doen't really matter when each pull is random.

Usually walk away after a decent hit unless it's a hand pay then I may play the remaining credits left in the machine.
