Aria demographics?

Will a couple of fluffy midwesterners fit in here? Or is it the LA model type resort. I'm trying to find a nice place with a nice pool without a million kids and avoiding the crazy packed in atmosphere....thanks so much

You are a perfect fit for Aria. You pay, you belong. Damn anyone who looks down their nose at others.

I cannot speak to the pool, but I have been in the Aria casino a few times. It has always been dead when I have been in there, so I think it fits the bill for "avoiding the crazy packed in atmosphere". With the casino entrance set so far back from LVB, they get a fraction of the walk-in foot traffic that other casinos on the strip gets. Besides that, to me there is no "vibe" in it - it seems very "sterile".

I think you'll have a great time. Aria isn't a "party" hotel for the 20 yr olds.

A "fluffy" new englander.

I have read real good review on the rooms. Many reviews mention my observations in the reply above. From what you have shared with us about what you are looking for, it may be a good fit for you.

I thought it was going to be an upscale joint...but they invite trailer trash like me to stay in their rooms for free. You'll fit in just fine. Enjoy this beautiful property with great blackjack tables.

You'll fit in fine. Take a look at Oyster.com to see pictures of real people who stay at Aria instead of brochure models:

I'm a Midwesterner who dresses mainly in jeans, polo shirts, and tennis shoes. I've never felt out of place at Aria, Wynn or Encore. Many people of all styles and backgrounds at all of these places. I did feel a tad "uncool" when walking through Cosmo and probably would feel like a fish out of water at a place like the Mandarin Oriental, but have always felt right at home at Aria (I've stayed 3 times in the last 2 years).

And by the way, the pool area is wonderful and the spa is great - you can get a day pass for around $30, or you can pay for a treatment and spend all day in the spa if you'd like. Have a great time!

Almost forgot.... I highly recommend Julian Serrano for very tasty tapas. And the Skybox Bar and Grill is a nice spot for a casual meal.

ya dont ever think that of ANY hotel/casino in vegas. The LA model types? thats just so stereotypical of what LA isnt. Southern California is one of the most diverse cities in the country with so many cultures and economic levels.

Thats like saying all midwesterners are all exactly like you. LOL. I'm sure theyre not.

Great thing about Vegas is that it brings in everyone from all corners of the nation as well as all countries from all over the world. Everyones out there to have a good time and you would never see anyone not fit in at any place in Vegas.
