Palms dress code and phantom

We are first timers - have a reservation on travelzoo deal at Italian restaurant on top of the Palms casino - just wondering what dress is appropriate for the men there. Also looking at a deal for phantom of the opera tickets - has anyone been and if so do you recommend? We are only there for 4 nights and friends coming for 3, both never been so want to take in as much ambience as possible, but not particularly concerned with getting into a lot of different shows, events, etc. Just wondering if phantom might be one worth going to - have seen cirque shows and once you've been to cirque a second trip isn't really necessary I feel.

Phantom is closing Sept. 2nd, it is definitely worth seeing if you are here before it closes.

Are you going to Nove for dinner? It is such a beautiful space, delicious food, amazing views. For men, you would be fine in a nice pair of jeans and dress shirt. But you will see people dressed in all ways. You may want to check out Ghost Bar while you're at the Palms, the outdoor patio area overlooks the city and has beautiful views.

I love Phantom. Just don't get the cheap seats or you might not enjoy the show as much. I hope to get to see it again before they close.

We bought our Phantom tickets last minute and got super nosebleed seats and still loved the show. Better view of the chandelier :)

Anyways, if you have any sort of interest in the show whatsoever, go see it, because as BellaLV said, it's closing soon.
