Can anyone tell me about Super Bowl parties?

I know this question may seem a little early but I like plan ahead.

My last trip to Vegas was during the superbowl & I paid $86 to go to Toby Keith's buffet & Harrah's. The atmosphere & television viewing were good, the buffet was terrable & to top it off the $86 didn't include any beer.

I plan on visiting Vegas for the Superbowl for as long as I can or want to. I also spend more time gambling DT or Bolder hwy & like staying DT for a few days during any trip & probabally most of my next trip.

So who here on TA has been to a Superbowl party DT? Are the parties pay or invite & what am I expected to shell out? Where is the best SB party or parties DT?

Thank's to all respondant's.

I went to one at MGM as part of a comp and it was ok. Nothing to write home about. I think anywhere you go is good, as long as they have TV's.

I haven't been to one in years, but somebody did a TR about one at the Foundation Room that sounded pretty awesome. Sorry, don't know the price.

I have attended the Las Vegas Hilton, now Las Vegas Hotel's Superbowl Party for many years. Invite is usually based on your level of play...However, do think you can pay to attend...It is all inclusive with tailgate type food and the alcohol flows...The sportsbook also has the greatest number of proposition bets on the game...It is truly a great event...Additionally, the Friday before the Superbowl, they host a meet and greet with former NFL players...The event also has free flowing alcohol and appetizers...Info on many Big Game Parties (Superbowl) does not usually present itself until sometime in December...

I've been invited (comp) to many SuperBowl parties, but I have never attended one downtown. Sorry. I'm sure someone has the answer for you!

It's getting closer & the Pat's kicked rear end last night so I'm gonna re-bump this thread. I really want to know what goes on for SB parties DT?

Thanks, Jimmy

I was Downtown for the Super Bowl last year. I was staying at the Golden Nugget and here is what they had. They had several parties in conference rooms and bars. Most of them were by invitation only. They also had one party in a large conference room that was first come first serve. Admission was free but you bought your own drinks (they had a bar set up front and two bars in the lobby area). I don't remember how many seats but it was a rather large room with a large projection screen showing of the game. We ended up watching the game in there for the most part. Again it was pretty no frills but it was free. There were also places that had a set price for food and beverage along freemont street. I want to say most were about 100 on average but don't hold me to that. That being said it was a pretty fun atmosphere downtown.

Hi there. I am also doing some research on SB parties in Vegas and have heard the Casa di Amore party mentioned several times, but no one seems to give any specific details about it. I was wondering if someone could expand a little bit about what makes the party so good. I appreciate any and all comments. Thanks!
