Table Game Let it Ride for newbies question

Played this game in Louisana and was told I can only use 1 hand to hold the cards, I wonder why, is it the same in all Vegas casino's?

Many table games ask that you hold the cards with one hand only (3 card poker is one for example).

Best of luck!

In Las Vegas and A/C I've always picked up my cards in 3CP with both hands, so I can slowly fan out the cards to reveal....that I've lost yet again!

I've never been told that I can only use one hand. How on earth is that even possible? I'm just not that coordinated. lol

Maybe its only at Horseshoe in Louisana, maybe it was a new dealer, also I was the only person playing and was during the day...LOL I got nervous so I cashed out after a few hands too, but still came out ahead

From my experience, I've found a lot of casinos want you to only use one hand on certain table games (especially handheld BJ games). I think it's over cheating concerns.

Of course, I also found that it could depend on the dealer too. Some dealers are strict about it while others don't care.

I played 3 card poker at the Hard Rock in Florida(Indian Casino) in 2010 and you can only use one hand to look at the cards. When I asked why I was told they had caught two people exchanging cards so they now allow only one hand to touch the cards at a time.

i don't know if that is still being enforced.

I have never played in a casino that allowed you to touch your cards with 2 hands.

The only handheld game I ever found that they don't care if you use two hands is Pai Gow poker. Of course, 7 cards is hard to work with when you only get to use one hand.
