Aria..any inexpensive food?

We will be arriving at Aria in 10 days, are there any inexpensive food outlets or snack options there? Or do we have to take the monorail to MC for that? Haven't been to Vegas since city center opened. If we walk out the fron and go right will that take us to Cosmopolitan? Looking for some good R&R by the pool and some gambling in the evenings.....Any good Aria tips would be appreciated. Are there soft drinks machines on each floor, I have to have my diet coke in the mornings?

I always walk to MC for their wonderful food court. Also, to get snacks, I walk to CVS and fill the garbage with ice and place 3 drinks in at a time (the garbage is really small - of course I use their laundry bag and actually place the ice and drinks inside of this). The only other somewhat affordable snack place in Aria is their gift shop where you get a bag of chips and drink for $4 - have done this late at night, I believe they close at midnight (could be wrong).

This is the one thing that my hubby and I complained about most when we were there in July, no affordable fast food. We did order from the skybox, near the sports bar for carry outs. A turkey burger, fry and soda was $25 but we are not huge eaters and shared this and it was very good and filling. The other option was $20+ dollars at the buffet, $44 per person on weekends and $32 on a Sunday. Then you have Cafe Vettro which was good and affordable, again my hubby and I share our meals, I ordered the salad and he ordered hot wings and fries and soda - cost about $35 - 40 dollars I believe - this was last year.

CVS is right before you get to Monte Carlo. You simply walk out past the cab stand, down the escalator and a quarter of a block and you are there. It literally takes you 2-3 minutes to get there - no problem at all. Just ask any of the bell men when you get outside. Note: do not go to the back, walk to the front where registration is located and go out those doors. Believe me, you will have no problem. Plus, Walgreens is across the street and CVS has a Chase ATM. Both stores allow cash back - CVS - $35 and Walgreen's $40 if needed.

Thanks for all the great info. everyone. City center wasn't there the last time we were there. My DH was sondering if there's a starbucks or anywhere he can grab a coffee early morning while I'm still sleeping....Also, is there any shaded area by any of the free pools? Checked on there cabana prices, a little to rich for our blood. I remember shortly after M Bay opened, we got an awesome cabana for 100.00, my have things changed since then.

There's a Jean Phillipe (sp) bakery once you get off of the elevators that has great coffee. Also, on your way out of the casino, there is a less busier coffee spot. I can't say much about the pool since I have never used one at Aria.

Thinking of coffee, my husband went to Starbucks for me since we had gift cards and two ladies were having a coffee fit in front of JP's bakery and I could not tell them where Starbucks was located (hubby was not near me). So, if Starbucks is his thing, then Starbucks it might have to be although I liked JP's coffee better.

Stay away from Skybox, It was like $10 for $6 tiny bone in chicken wings, that weren't worth it.

The food court in MC is a very short walk. They have plenty of fast food options.
