Lion Habitat and the Wildlife habitat are no longer. These are all great things, but sounds like way to much planning, how long will you be there?

Sounds awesome! The Flamingo habitat is still there. One of my favorite places. I'll be there in 10 more sleeps :)

I really enjoyed the Popovich Pet show.

Have a great trip!

I think they took the lions out last February or so. I do know they are gone. Honestly, it wasn't much to see anyway--if you were staying at MGM you would still only go see them once for five minutes.

You don't have a buffet dinner planned? For shame.

You should be renting an automobile (carrentalsavers.com) and stopping by the Hoover Dam, Red Rocks Canyon and Valley of Fire.

The Show in the Sky at Rio is corny and I don't know why I like it so much. Rio has a great buffet, by the way.

Get there a little early for the Sirens at TI--the sidewalk gets very crowded as showtime approaches. Watching it from across the street isn't as good.

I havent thought about food and drink yet! I guess I would want a 'cost effective' buffet as i wouldnt want to spend too much of this. So my next question..

Cheapish but nice buffets please...................

The Fall of Atlantis is under construction right now- hopefully making it less cheesy :)

Some people think the effiel tower is worth it, some do not. Depending on where you're staying your hotel room might have a better view :) The stratosphere might be better all around as it has other things to do once you get up there- or you could take in the view at one of the great lounges, like Mix or Voodoo Lounge for the price of a drink. Have fun!!

Am interested in going to the VooDoo Lounge to check out this view, is the entry fee expensive? And what about the drinks, are they expensive?

From your list, imo. Skip the secret garden, most people don't seemed thrill with it. We have gone to see the show in the sky and it has not run. Just be aware, don't make a special trip or you may be disappointed. They do usually hand out free VooDoo lounge tickets on the casino floor. Think your list is great, take it with you. Never fails DH and I go to do something and we can't remember the when things start:)

Sounds fun Darren, I have been to Vegas 13 times (14 next month) and it has taken me all those trips to see everything on your list! Where are you staying?

I would try to break strip down into sections and cover it a bit at a time. The whole Vegas experience is over the top overload so sit back and enjoy just breathing it all in! If you do run out of things to do on the cheap and like cars print out free coupons online to the Auto Collections at Imperial Palace. I send hubby over there every trip to get him out of my hair for a few hours. He loves it!

Remember if you don't see or do everything the first time it makes a great reason to start planning your second one! Thanks for all the tips!

Were staying at Tropicana, hopefully quite a different to Circus Circus where we stayed last year. We enjoyed the secret garden and dolphin habitat so will do that again this year.

So if we go to Rio in the evening, maybe for a bit of food, we maybe likely to get free voodoo lounge tickets?

What other clubs are cool?
