Yes some rooms, and many suites, do have coffee makers. I know of no comprehensive list, but if you let us know which rooms you are considering I'm sure someone will know.

They aren't that common. But if it matters enough to make a post on a forum, and then choose a hotel that might be $20 more then one without a coffee maker, I would suggest picking the hotel room you want. Then going down to the nearest Walgreens/CVS/whatever and buy a $10 coffee machine. Use it while you are there, then leave if for the next person in your room.

Its the cheap fix, and from all the partying that goes on in the hotel rooms in Vegas, at least you know no one pee'd in your coffee machine, or did anything else disgusting in it. I really doubt the cleaners are taking the time to clean the insides of them, alot of the time you are lucky if you don't have the last persons underwear laying on the floor when you check in.

I know the hotel Im booked in has no coffee maker, is it acceptable to buy a kettle an make your own like you say, or are we likely to get into trouble or be charged by the hotel for the privilige?

spendypenny: Yes, you can buy your own kettle or coffee maker and you won't get into trouble using it.

I take one of these with me:

Don't both bringing the mug, just save a starbucks cup and reuse it. Or order a coffee while playing and take the cup to your room. You can pack stuff tightly around it and it takes very little room in my suitcase.

Buying a cheap one and ditching it doesn't sit right with me. Not to mention I find many coffee makers make crummy coffee. I tested this one before the first trip and it makes great coffee.
