Harrahs,Ballys or Paris?

Stayed our first time at Cosmopolitan a while back. We have decided to go back but looking for a cheapie getaway. These 3 are in our price range with the edge going to Harrahs because breakfast buffet is included. (By the way how much is it? Website says $19.99 and reviews say $9.99) Could someone give me some advise and pros and cons? Many thanks

The over/under is 3 posts before someone suggests another hotel than the 3 you specifically mentioned.

Are you looking at bottom end standard rooms or better rooms within those properties? Paris would be the slightly nicer property. Ballys has very large rooms. Both ballys and Paris will be more removed from the construction. None of these will compare with the room at Cosmo. As long as u know that going in and are ok with it u will do ok. Paris does not have a poker room.... Gotta go next door if that matters. Not sure if pools will be a factor for your dates?? Don't remember seeing your dates

I'm assuming that Paris is probably a little more expensive then the other two, and if that's the case, I'd choose Ballys over Harrah's. (although with the free breakfast, it's probably a toss up) The reason i would choose Ballys is that it is connected to Paris, so it's like you are staying there anyway, but don't have to pay more for the room. However, if you are being offered the same rate at Paris, I would just book there.

OK thanks seems the opinion is no to Harrahs even with free breakfast? Yes Paris is a little higher but only by $20 so no big deal. I realise it wont be the Cosmo which was wonderful but we really didnt spend much time in the room and have decided we would rather have the extra money for slots!! It will be around 10 February so have no interest in the pools !! Is there construction going on by Harrahs then? What are the other downfalls of Harrahs, just shabby rooms?

The construction is going on at the old Imperial Palace (The Quad). This is next door to Harrahs and can be annoying. Bally's probably has the worst casino of the three properties, but I would say the standard rooms are probably the best. (because they are so big)

The construction is next door to Harrahs for the linq project. Won't affect u too much except walking thru it going south. For 20 your best bet is prolly Paris tho i like ballys fine and like the big rooms for storing all my shopping. I'm rarely in my room either so tend toward the comped CET properties too. From Texas you prolly won't be in the pool for sure. I've done it in feb but from Canada even the cooler feb temps in Vegas feel pretty warm

I agree - Paris, Ballys then Harrahs.

But really, how much time are you gonna spend in the room apart from shower and sleep??

Good luck and happy planning!!
