Ceasars Palace - Tower locations, walking distances

We would like to try CP out for the first time. My husband and I will be traveling with my mom, who is primarily going for slots. She would prefer not to walk too far to get to them! The Roman towers decor don't appeal to us, but the location of the Forum Towers and the decor seem good for her. The only problem is that I enjoy a tub and from what I understand, Forum rooms don't have any. Which tower would be the closest to the Forum? How far away from the casinos are the Palace, Agustus, and Octavius Towers? I've heard they are "long" walks, but what is that in minutes? Is it a pain to get out to the strip?

I appreciate any and all replies on this subject! Thanks!

The closest tower to the Forum would be the Roman, then Augustus and Palace are roughly the same distance away from the Roman, and Octavius is the farthest away. None of them are incredibly far from each other - I would guess 3 - 4 minutes' walk, depending on your speed. The Roman Tower is the closest to the main entrance, and thus less of a pain to get to the Strip.

A map of the property is available here, if you'd like to get a better idea of the layout: caesarspalace.com/images/non_image_assets/CL…

Only lousy if you go back to the room frequently. Augustus, octavious, and palace will suit your needs. There Are enough slots in Caesars for your mom to stay there all day!

Palace is much closer to slots than Augustus or Octavius. Both are large rooms with tubs. Look on Oyster.com pictures of the rooms. I loved loved loved Augustus tower and hope for a fountain view on my next trip. Both rooms are very spacious.

I like Augustus because it's close to the front of the property. I'll tell you though I walk just fine and thought I would be going back to my room wayyyyy more frequently than I did. It's just a hassle. That being said I don't think we visited any casino where I wouldn't feel like that. Except maybe Bills.

Roman Tower rooms are accessible from BOTH Roman AND Forum Tower elevators! Roman Tower rooms numbered XX90 - XX99 are closer to the Forum Tower Elevators than then Forum Tower rooms!

I take it then that she is getting a Forum room and you are trying to pick a room for yourselves? In that case, Palace would be the one easiest to access the Forum side assuming Nobu Tower doesn't work for you.

If you are planning to be in the same tower, I don't think there is a major difference in walk from either Palace Tower or Augustus Tower to the Palace casino. I used to prefer the Forum casino side but I find myself liking Palace Casino more and more.

Octavious is the only tower I would avoid due to distance. It's a bit of a hike.

Thanks for the replies! Roman Tower would be perfect, but it seems like that is the tower that gets the worst reviews. Maybe we could both try the Palace, if it's not a huge trek to casino for her. My husband and I don't mind walking distances, but my mom does. If only Forum had a tub!

When staying in the Palace Tower I prefer to ascend to my room via the escalator across from Payard, transferring to an elevator banked on either the Ballroom (5) or Conference level (4), descending reversed. This avoids the retail hawkers near the Casino Level elevator banks, thus providing a more aesthetically pleasing Palace Tower room egress/ingress as well as convenience.
