What started quite a few years ago as bantering here on TA has totally changed my life forever in the best way possible! Over the years there have been parties and get-togethers, but this past year has been EPIC!!

SW early flight to Vegas nonstop on V-Day, no sleep the night before, so I managed to snooze at least 3 hours of the flight. Gotta love that!

Picked up my rental car at 10 am (yes, for those that remember, I got the GrannyMobile once again!)

I was able to get checked in to Aria by 11, but stopped to play a $ slot before heading up to the room. BAM...$500 right out of the gate! WOOHOO!

I had to go solo this trip as my MIL had been hospitalized just before we were to leave. But I knew I would never actually be alone except to sleep on this trip!!

Met up with one of my closest Vegas pals that afternoon and had a nice lunch at Café Vettro. Gambled for a bit then went to change for a party in a friend's Aria suite. WOW...I would have liked to have been staying in that suite!! Great to see such a fun group that had gathered there, some old and closer friends and met some new friends!

Later had Valentine's Day dinner with 2 couples....yeah, I was the 5th wheel without my DH but still enjoyed the food and company at American Fish! Delicious steak...I don't do seafood! LOL!

Played some slots and held my own after dinner then called it a night by 10pm since I was running on just the fumes of the sleep I had on the plane!

Day 2 Fri 2/15

Woke up at 3 am. Geesh. Not wanting to actually be up for the day, I played MyVegas on my computer for awhile, caught up on FB and e-mails then finally went back to sleep from about 5 am till 11 am!

Got my day going rather late, but that was OK! Met up with 2 fabulous UK friends in the afternoon and had coffee and a wonderful catching up gab session! Took them back to Wynn from Aria. We had different dinner plans, so I left them at 6:30 and thought I could scoot quickly over to Venetian to meet up for dinner at Rattlecan at 7. Ha ha...traffic was a total stand still practically on Koval and I could not even get over to get into Venetian's parking garage. Had to loop back, so I decided it would be easier just to park at Palazzo and run through to Venetian! Got there just at 7!!

While Rattlecan was fun and the food was good....the night was just getting started! We headed over to Bourbon Room and danced the night away! Had a blast! The "MC" I guess you would call him, was dressed in a very tacky 80's get-up and really interacted with our group; quite a few very Vegas moments!! The only problem was our CW, she was a little snooty and didn't want to take cash as we ordered drinks, she wanted to run a tab on CC's. At the end of the evening I had to run her down to get my tab and CC back! The rest of the group had left and I was left there waiting for her. She dropped the tab on a table (where strangers had now sat down!) and said to just leave it there. Uhm...no. Had to take it back to the bar myself!

I was wide awake when I got back to Aria, so I played the slots till 3 am before crashing!

Day 3- the "Big Kahuna's" Birthday!!

Got up late again (as usual for me, and actually it's EARLY for me, as I get up at maybe 4-5 pm at home!)

Drove down to TI from Aria and took the strip because I came out of Aria's North Valet and got into the lane to turn onto the strip! Yikes! Traffic was slow, and I had a hard time finding TI's valet. But I made it in time as the party was just getting started! This party was planned to a "T" as several of our group are natural born party planners! Every little detail was perfect! There was food and yummy cupcakes, drinks (which I did NOT partake in as I had driven!) The birthday boy was "roasted" and each one that gave a speech touched on special memories we have of the big guy! In the end we were all near tears! He certainly was a big reason many years ago that I came back to read TA every day. He is funny and just a big teddy bear! His wife is one of the sweetest people I have ever met!

So the party wound down in the party room, but continued at the bar for awhile. Since I was not drinking, I headed out to the casino and played the slots there for a bit, winning about $300...thank you very much TI!!

Headed back to Aria around 6 or so and changed clothes for Bond that night. Decided I really needed to eat before going there, and figured everyone else had already eaten by 8 pm. So I ate at Café Vettro again. It was one of the tastiest meals I have had there, meat loaf, mashed potatoes and green beans. Sounds boring, but it had a wine infused gravy that was yummeee!!

Walked to Cosmo and met up with the group there. Dancing and singing on the casino floor just outside the bar was fun! I had one "Teddy" drink, kind of like a S'More drink but no marshmallow in it....like Teddy Grahams I guess. Crushed grahams on the rim and kind of chocolatey. Very good, but at $15 a pop, I only had one!

After most of the group filtered out, a few of us went to play the slots. I stayed about even which is OK...I have always lost $$ there before! A group was going to go over to Bally's to Indigo to dance, but we had lost them. So one friend and I decided just to walk over. We were joined by "StampsFan" as we were walking out, and he walked with us. We were glad he was with us though, a rumble was going on out front of PH. We joked that we were hiding behind him!

We could not find the rest of the group when we got to Bally's. Indigo was packed, but they weren't there. Finally we spotted a few of them, and they had kind of lost steam. So we all parted and I took a cab back to Aria. No way was I walking alone at 1 am!!

Got to bed about 3-3:30 again that night!

Day 4- Sun 2/17

No big plans for the day on Sunday. Some went to Wynn for the Jazz Brunch, but knowing my "schedule" of sleep, I didn't want to be committed to getting up early to get ready. I know...I'm a slacker!! LOL!! So I just took my good ol' time getting bathed and dressed that day, enjoying my room!

Headed down to Harrah's for a fun group slot pull in the afternoon. We each threw in $35 and put it into a $5 WOF. I tell ya...I would not have believed it if I hadn't seen it happen, but that machine ATE our money! I mean gobbled it lock, stock and barrel! It was loads of fun though, we each got to take turns spinning and hoping to hit the BIG MONEY! We all tried different "voodoo" on it, but I swear Harrah's saw us coming and locked that machine down tight!!

After the slot pull, some of us headed to Grand Lux Palazzo to eat. I have to go there at least once each trip! Played at Palazzo for awhile with no luck, then headed over to Wynn. Played there for several hours, but was also going down in flames there! So I headed back to Aria late and hit the slots there. I was getting frustrated that this was NOT my day to gamble. Then it happened....put a small TITO into a $ Triple Strike machine and BAM! Hit a handpay! I was Stashed my winnings and played for a while longer and had a couple of freebie drinks since I was not driving anywhere, then hit the sack around 4 am!
