I'm getting away from work and celebrating the end of my collegiate career in June. Although I wouldn't mind escaping the cold weather here now! Have a great trip!

Not a thing or person. Not everyone has to get away from something. I concur, if I lived in an area that received snow I would want to get away!

Now that I am semi retired and my kids are mostly on their own, I don't have any stress to escape. I would say I am escaping from the South Dakota winter, but I'm not going until the end of May, LOL. I guess I am escaping TO . . . a strip hotel stay, the bright lights and in-your-face 24-hour-a-day excitement of Las Vegas, some great meals and shows, vacation time with a friend, etc.

I just like to leave reality and drink like a fish when I want. Defineately dont go to get away from the snow. That beautiful snow is what helps to keep my little town more segregated from some of the problems of the southern states.

Work: Instead of watching planes take off all day, I will be sitting in one.

Weather: Spring here in Ireland and woke up to snow and rain. Forecast in Vegas next Sunday is sun.

But its not so much about getting away from something.... Its just heading to somewhere different and quality time with the OH
