Incidental Charges At The Bellagio?

Can anyone help please - As I am reading so many different things, I'm a bit confused on whether you have to leave a payment for incidental charges on your Credit Card when staying at the Bellagio if this is the case, does anyone know how much this is per day? Or do they give you the option of not charging anything to your room and pay for drinks/food as you go along? Thank you

If you use a credit card, the incidentals deposit is in the form of a hold which will be lifted after you check out and won't appear on any billing.

Hotels' policies on incidentals deposits can change frequently. Give Bellagio a call if you have any questions regarding how much the hold is and whether or not it can be declined.

blagger is right. If you're unsure, have a small spending limit on your credit card, or any other concerns, then you should phone the hotel for details as they would apply to you personally.

As recent as six months ago, the incidental credit card hold was $200 per night. If your reservation was pre-paid, then you could opt out but not be able to charge anything to your room. I'm not sure if you could leave a one-time cash deposit or not.

If you go to the website, at the bottom of the main page is a spot "contact us/ FAQs" Through the contact us, click on guest relations. You can send an inquiry and usually have your answer within a few days.

Its a hold on the credit card that gets refunded in 24-48 hours after you check out.

DON'T use a debit card, some places let you and the the bank views it as a withdrawal of cash for all intents and purposes. So if you have $200 in your checking and use your debit to check in and they put a hold on it, guess what happens when you go to pay for a meal?
