Wednesday: Arrived one hour late on Southwest from Houston. We decided to go with Presidential Limo and they were amazing giving us constant updates during the flight delay. Our driver was waiting for us at baggage claim. We got to the Mirage at 5:30 for check in (2 check in clerks and zero line). Our group had 2 Tower Suites reserved the first 2 nights and 2 regular rooms for our final night. Each night/room was under a different person's name. We used MyVegas rewards for the Suites and paid for our Friday night. We tipped 50 dollars to the clerk during check in and asked her to make things as simple for us. We didn't want to have to check in and out every day. We were able to stay in the Suite all 3 days including the Friday for an added 50 dollar upgrade. We jumped on it. We didn't want to change rooms on our last day of the trip and the Tower Suite was going for 700 dollars that night.

We had less than an hour to shower and run next door to Caesar's to catch Shania Twain. I found an usher and asked about upgrading our seats. He was clueless. Then I found another head usher (Wearing an earpiece) I tipped him 20 dollars and asked him if he could upgrade us, there would be another $100 for him. He wrote down our seat numbers and said he would find us later. We were seated in our seats in the highest level for about 5 minutes before he came and grabbed us, walked us down to the first level via a private elevator and seated us in front of the stage. We were ecstatic!!! Shania was great. 2 of us saw the show opening week. Her voice is slightly improved.

After Shania, we walked over to Bellagio, caught the fountains and went into Jean Phillipe for some desserts. The selection was very limited this late on Wednesday night. After desserts, we played a little at Mirage before calling it a night.

Thursday Morning: We woke up and headed out to Bellagio around 10:30 a.m. to redeem Bellagio Buffets from MyVegas. Redemption was easy and we got to use the VIP line. We all loved the Buffet and this was one of the highlights of our trip, food-wise. After lunch we went to the ticket office at Bellagio and were able to pick up tickets to LOVE and ZUMANITY there. We took the Vegas newbies to Cosmo to do the $100 loss rebate promotion, which the lady said they aren't advertising, but will still honor it. One of our friends decided to do a Free Spin Machine for new Identify Card players instead of the $100 dollar rebate and got a Free cocktail coupon. BIG FAIL!! After playing some at COSMO we went back to play at MIRAGE. The BAMBOO PANDA Slots were paying Bonuses our whole trip. We showered and decided to do the MIrage Cravings Buffet (MyVegas). This was a HUGE disappointment. We all agreed the food was horrible, lacked taste/flavor. I don't understand the good reviews for this buffet. I am not a food snob and this was not at the level of the Golden Corral. After this horrible meal, we went to see LOVE. Everyone in the group LOVED it!!! After the show, we played a bit before calling it a night.

Friday: Woke up and took a cab to Monte Carlo to redeem $100 FB Credit from MyVegas. We used it at the buffet for breakfast/lunch. The reward doesn't double up as a line pass, which was a bit embarrassing for us. The breakfast food was really good. The lunch food looked below average and we didn't touch the lunch stuff. Afterwards, we played a bit at ARIA (our favorite place) before me and my partner decided to go to QUA at Caesar's to unwind. We were extremely disappointed with Qua... Empty water bottles all over, loud music in wet area, shower supplies were subpar, and the place was full of gay men trolling around naked. We came here to relax and that wasn't possible. We were truly spoiled by the Spa at Aira on our last trip and found it to be a whole lot better than QUA. After Qua, we got ready and took a cab to Excalibur. Our group had 3 MyVegas rewards for the Steakhouse ($450 dollars). There was a problem with redeeming one of the rewards but it was squared away. We LOVED our dinner at the steakhouse. Our bill for 5 guys was $330 and we were stuffed. After dinner we went over to ZUMANITY. Our seats, thanks to MyVegas were amazing and we had a blast!! The show was very entertaining. We knew not to expect a CiRQUE type of show..We walked back to Mirage from NYNY to enjoy the sights. It was Friday night and the strip was PACKED!!!! ......(Final post coming)

Lots of people include details such as "4 25 year old ladies" "6 college guys" and so on in the title, what's the difference?

Sounds like Myvegas did you proud roneiltx!!

Saturday: Got dressed and decided to eat at Cravings a 2nd time because we were rushed and didn't think breakfast would be bad. We were wrong. The breakfast food was horrible and most of the regular food was also available at 9 a.m. (Sushi, Mexican, etc). What's worse is they charged 30 bucks for this brunch, with mimosas. Monte Carlo's breakfast offerings were MUCH better than what Cravings offered.

Final thoughts: Mirage Hotel- Tower Suites are amazing. Only problem we had was real thin walls and the A/C had a hard time cooling. Loved the Casino floor. Bamboo Panda machines were hitting bonuses all stay long. We still prefer Aria Suites over Tower Suites.

Biggest Disappointments: Cravings Buffet and QUA. We found everything about Aria Spa better than QUA. Don't understand the good reviews on Cravings. Yes, they might have a large buffet with many stations, but the food wasn't appealing visually or tasty.

Most Impressive: Bellagio Buffet, ZUmanity and Excalibur Steakhouse. All were MyVegas Rewards .

MyVegas thoughts: Amazing Marketing gimmick. We have been playing since December and the names of the casinos were in our face every day while we played. We got in when it was easier to level up and redeem prizes. We did feel like we were chasing rewards around town. I prefer to go to Vegas with as little planned as possible, except the shows. Because of MyVegas, we did most of our playing at MGM resorts, except one pit stop at COSMO. I do have MyVegas fatigue and don't see myself playing much since things are tightening up.

As I have read lots of reports of picking up rewards, I have thought it would sure be nice to be able to pick them up at one place. You're still getting in the doors of each of the casinos you have things purchased in, but you would only have to wait once for the rewards to be picked up.

Sounds like you had a good trip overall!!
