There are quite a few scattered around town. But... given the variety of very high quality Asian food in Las Vegas, I'd think tracking down the "best" of a typically low end category might be a less than optimal use of vacation time.

all of the vegas buffets on the strip have a Asian portion. Bellagio/Wynn both have very good asian sections.

I was pleased with the Asian buffet on the northeast corner of Eastern and Flamingo -- the name is Buffet At Asia, Good food, and very reasonably priced.

My vote for buffets will also take place on a regular AYCE buffet with big Asian food selections....Wynn and the M Resort's buffets are my top choices if one wants a good Asian food selection in a buffet.

IF you are considering a general Casino/Hotel buffet with a large chinese/asian selection. I would suggest that you consider the Rio Carnival Buffet -

Here is a link to a YOUTUBE Video of the Buffet - It's too long to look at if you interested in Chines or Asian.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HSPnCV1NihM

You can move the pointer and skip the first four mintues.

The Chinese Part is about from Minutes 4.15 to 5:30 and the Japanese Section from Minutes 8:00 to about 9:30 in the Video ( which goes longer than 10 minutes)

I would second the recommendation for the M Resort Buffet ( good selection, free wine and beer, after dinner cordials, nice desserts). It is a long drive (e.g. 1/2 hour from strip). and you would need a rental car

Well, the M's buffet was somewhat inspired by the Rio's, so those two recommendations aren't surprising much :)

And if you do choose Rio's massive buffet, you could also check out Ping Pang Pong at the nearby Gold Coast hotel for a good a la carte Chinese restaurant.

Mark e - you posted this is your first visit to LV...are you looking for any buffet or specifically a chinese buffet? Virtually every hotel offers a buffet restaurant. Quality and price varies. Better ones tend to be Wynn, Bellagio, Cosmo, and Caesars. I find lunch buffets to be better bang for your buck over dinners.
