MLife Summer offers seem crappy, or is it just us?

So our offers from MLife for the past 8 months have involved 3 night stays with $100-$250 in free play, $100-$300 in food credit, resort fees sometimes waved. We just did a quick 3 day trip, and our summer offers are suddenly crap. 1 night free with a paid night, $50 food credit, 2 for 1 show tickets. We didn't bet any less than other trips, although we came home a little less down than usual. Are the offers crappy this summer across the board, or did we just inadvertently somehow screw ourselves on this trip? We only ate with the food credit given us, and our stay (with hotel room) only ended up costing us about $25.

I have given up trying to figure out why I get which offers from MLife or anyone else. For the first time in years I got a pretty nice comp/FP/FBC offer from Bellagio, at least nice relative to what I get at hotels I've stayed at more recently. I'd been trying to get a reasonable deal, never mind comp to Bellagio for a couple years now with no luck. Likewise after a few years of nothing from Venetian/Palazzo I'm getting some decent offers. Sometimes I think, if I hold out on them for a while and stay elsewhere, it makes them perk up the percs

We got an awesome offer from Bellagio, but it wasn't in our MLife offers, not even online. We had offers from Luxor and Excalibur, and down at the bottom it linked the other MLife hotels. My husband got curious and called the Bellagio to see what offer they might have for us (remember, it was NOT published or sent to us) and they gave us 3 nights, $400 in free play, and $300 in food credit, resort fees waived. By far the best offer we've had so far. So it's worth it to call the property to see if they have something good for ya.

We are just sad that we aren't getting the awesome deals. Wondering if we gambled more than we thought the other times we've gone.

I got a great offer from Bellagio as well but still no real summer offers from Aria or anywhere else. Aria is where we always play.

When you call the hotel direct, do you ask for the Mlife operator, or just talk to whomever answers the phone?

gnd, The hotel operator can transfer you to the Players desk. I believe the phone numbers for the various M Life players clubs are on the Mlife website under 'Mlife Resorts' should you wish to call direct.

Yeah, I knew that. I was just wondering who gave the better deal. I have 4 nights at a great price at Caesar's(Palace Tower) booked for next month, but I am still pondering. If I could get a great deal at Aria for a few nights( I looked on my Mlife page last month and the Aria part had something about $79/night, but no links to the calendar. Called Aria and transferred to MLife desk. They said no. I think that I now want to spend 1 or 2 nights downtown at the GN and then 2 or 3 nights on the strip. Just looking out for a good deal.

I didn't get a corporate offers again. I sent them a message a few weeks ago, and they said they weren't done rolling them out and if I didn't have them by the end of the month to let them know. So I sent another message this morning. We will see if that does any good.

Seeing as to how I have never gotten any mLife offers before, I am really happy with the measly offers I have been getting lately. Was able to take advantage of a 2 night comp at NYNY with $25 Freeplay a couple weeks ago, and just booked the same offer for the end of June. I could have had 2 comped nights at Luxor with $50 Freeplay, but it was only good for Sunday-Thursday.

The main reservations desk would know about any special offers available to the general public.

The Players clubs would know what's available to you based on your play at their casino.

In my experience, places like Aria usually offer the lower casino rate, in your case $79, for the week nights, but not for weekend stays, or when special things are going on like the clowns are coming to town.... Also, there may be a limited number of rooms at that rate, and if you wait, then they may be taken by others.

Wynn and Venelazzo are notorious for doing the cheap lure offers, then when you check the calendar they are available for perhaps just one night per month. ;-/

I am not getting any decent offers. for example I was getting up to 5 nights(during week) from the MC, now its only 3 nights. the MC is not the nicest MLIFE hotel and they sure have tightened the slots. During my last visit in Jan, based on points on the card, I must have run 15K thru the slots in 4 days in Mgm hotels.

I am happy when i get a choice of 3 weekday nights, $100 freeplay and maybe 2 buffets but after 20 trips, the offers just keep getting less and less.
