Best cabana rental

Hi all, we fly to vegas on sunday 2nd june for 10 nights, 1st time,it will be our silver wedding anniversary whilst we are there.I would like to book a cabana and chill out for the day.We are staying at the Mirage, but just wondered if there were better places to hire a cabana from.Hoping to renew our vows on the day then lounge about. Thanks

Most pools are restricted to hotel guests but they might make an exception for those renting a cabana - in general terms the better the hotel, the better the cabana but equally the higher the cost.

Rental costs can vary significantly due to day of the week and overall demand as well as what you get for your money.

What do you actually get with a Cabana ?

Many hotels will rent cabanas to non-guests but the problem you have is that guests get priority and you may not know whether or not there's ability until the day itself.

I would stick with Mirage. The cabanas there are pretty nice and you have the convenience of being at your "home" hotel.

That explains it... or rather doesn't. So your near the pool but sat inside watching a Tv ? Rather expensive way of making sure you get a sun lounger !!

Thanks for the replies. To be honest I havnt got a clue what you get with the cabana, just wanted to make sure we were near the pool and bar being waited on and not arm to arm with others on the sunloungers.Weather looks as though its going to be very hot next week so after the renewal we are going to chill out .

You get a dedicated cabana waitress who only serves the cabanas, so no need to go to the bar yourself. Plus you can buy a bottle of whatever for the cabana and they'll provide mixers and ice and you can mix your own drinks. The cabanas at Mirage are very close to the pool itself. It is nice to have the option of ducking inside your cabana to get out of the sun and cool off for a bit.

We have our first cabana rental ever at MB. They call their low end models--gazebos. We got it because we got a great deal--$225 minus $50 cabana credit minus $25 pools credit, put mainly because the MB pool area is a zoo. This way we guaranteed ourselves space, seats and shade. The only other benefits are free bottles of water, an overhead fan (nice) and a TV (which we probably won't use.

If you're going to have an "all day" pool day it's a worthwhile luxury item, IMO. You get more comfortable chairs, better service, your own shade, and that most precious of commodities at crowded Las Vegas pools-- SPACE to yourself!

All that plus not having to queue up early to get a good spot makes it very appealing to me.

' mainly because the MB pool area is a zoo.'.... seems to be the impression I'm getting on TA about Vegas pools in general.
