Wynn Red Card

Lets get this out there, i'm not a gambler but....I have signed up for a Wynn red card anyway. Can anyone explain what the real benefits are to this please. I did it on-line so, do they send me a card (I live outside the US) or do I pick it up when I arrive.

Also, are there any tips on how to get the best out of it, I will be staying at the Encore.

Finally, is there any benefit to signing up to other cards?

Many thanks

Use the card so your play is tracked when you gamble. If you're only a low roller you're unlikely to earn much at all in terms of comps but still charge stuff to your room and ask at the Red Card desk is any of your charges can be taken care of before you check out. A few bucks is better than nothing.

It's worth signing up for any players card. Totally free and only takes a short amount of time. Even if you barely gamble, it puts you on hotels' radar for possible future offers.

You'll pick up your card at the Red Card desk. Have ID with you.

I have a red card and am not a high roller, I still get offers from Wynn. Like stated above they're worth it. I'm local and visit the properties often so I use rewards cards every time I buy something from the properties.

Doesn't hurt to sign up. If you are a low roller, don't expect anything to be comp'd during your stay but you will likely get marketing offers in the future such as discounted room rates.

Do they still have the promotion where you sign up for a card and get a free buffet with a certain amount of play?

Yes, and IF memory serves, it's 800 points within 24h, and 1500 points after.

I had a nice stay at Encore after one days play at Wynn with the red card. We gambled about $450 total on slots and my wife got an offer for a free night, two more nights at $129, and a $200 Free play. No offers since, but we really enjoyed our stay for a minimal investment.

My friend likes to play slots and hasn't signed up for a Wynn card. I thought she might like to gamble there if she had a decent chance at a "free" buffet. I figure that she is going to play slots anyway so I might as well find out what promotions the casinos have. She may want to play at the Cosmo as well if they still have their $100 promotion when we go in August.

We aren't expecting comps, as we don't gamble much, but we will be eating and drinking at Wynn/Encore during our stay. Do we benefit from a Red Card while eating and drinking on Wynn property? If so, is it tied to our room bill? Do we have to show our card each time? Again, we aren't expecting comps but hoping for better room offers in future.
