Not visiting but the cab from the airport should be around $18 + tip assuming you don't get long hauled.

Thanks. Silly question I know but can you wander in and out of any of the hotels to have a look and eat at the restaurants or are they just for guests.

It's not as daft a question as you might think. People we know met a couple from Wales who were on their last day and said that they were bored silly. When asked what they thought of various hotels they said they hadn't been into any of them as they weren't guests there. They had only been in their own hotel.

So yes, you can go in and out of them all.

If it's your first trip here's a tip - day one walk out of your hotel and turn left and start exploring, day two repeat but turn right on leaving the hotel.

Take comfy walking shoes as the distances between hotels can be huge even though they might be next door - consider buying a pass for the SDX/Deuce bus which runs up/down the strip to save on cab fares.

Going from 27th June to July 9th with 2 nights in laughlin , 4 comp myvegas nights in suites and the rest downtown at the nugget. Will be my 9th trip to vegas and 4th since jan 2012 - it gets addictive.

My best advice is to pace yourself. Don't try to see the whole town and drink yourself silly on the first 2 days. A week in vegas is definitely a marathon not a sprint. Also try to stay up until at least midnight on the night you arrive. If you cave into the jet lag it can take a good 4 days to get yourself out of waking at 4am

Have fun !
