The Palazzo

Hi Everyone,

We are thinking of staying in The Palazzo next May.

Both of us like a good pool area - can anyone let us know what it is like there?

Thanks

Sorry - forgot to ask - are there parasols/umbrellas or do you have to rent a cabana for any shade?

Plenty of shade at palazzo pools and you can use Venetian pools too

The Palazzo's own pools are directly next to the building, which is quite tall, and are on the west side of it, so they are in the shade all morning. That's not necessarily a bad thing, especially if you catch a heat spell in May.

As others have pointed out, the combined Venetian/Palazzo complex has a lot of pool areas, and you can use any of it.

What is "good" to you?

The P website and others like YouTube have good pool shots.

The complex is large, well-staffed, offers a variety of pools and hot tubs. My favorite is at Venezia tower, food from Bouchon makes it perfect.

I stayed at the Palazzo last year and really enjoyed the pool. The Palazzo's pool area seemed to be a little more laid back, but as mentioned above, you can walk over to the Venetian's pool, too, which had a more of a party vibe. I don't know about umbrellas.
