respect Vegas its a home to us.

Hello I am a local, and I work somewhat on the strip. I am originally from California and been in Vegas 8 years now. Cali is great and it is a beautiful place to live and raise children. We moved to Vegas because the cost of living over here is much more inexpensive than California. Now I have my own family and I have made Vegas my home, I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. A lot of people assume that Vegas is a horrible place to live in when really it is not. I obviously don't live on the strip. What you see on the strip is not what you will see off the strip. Before I started working on the strip I would hardly ever go on it. While I was getting off work I drove by the Caesars Palace and I saw a Male who was just hammered pissing by the elevator now I was offended. Why? Because this is MY home and people disrespect it all the time. We have cross walks that have signals so you'll know when to NOT cross. I don't know why people are so rude and think they can just do whatever they want. We like any other city have laws and pedestrians don't always have the right of the way here, if the light is red and you cannot cross it actually means DO NOT CROSS! Have your fun, drink like there's no tomorrow but please people don't come here to do whatever you want have a little sanity and respect Vegas. It is not like back where you are from.

Jackelyn I couldnt agree with you more. I live in a tourist area that gets a million or more people every summer and it takes a lot of patience to survive some of them. They stop in the middle of the highway to look at the cows, they slow down to almost nothing because they dont know if its where they should turn or not, and on and on and on. Some can drive ya nuts and act like they own the place or tell us what we should be doing. When Im in Vegas I always am very polite to the local workers and try hard to understand how much crap they are putting up with day after day.

Well you are clearly right about everything you said. BUT hahahahahaha,, you chose the place and drunks do what they want so live with it !! Your government even advertises, "what happens in Vegas, stay's in Vegas" in other words, do what you want when you want, we are not telling !!! Your like the guy who buys a house next to the train track then complains about the noise.. Move !!

And this is not an arguement with no one it just sucks having to see things like this. The driving part and walking across the streets is really for everyone because it sucks if YOUR driving and the light is green on your side and your running late or something and there's people crossing when they are not suppose to.. Yeah that will kind of upset you.

I don't disagree with you at all, but unforntuately posting on this forum isn't going to reach your intended audience (with a few exceptions). Maybe you should stand next to the porn slappers and lecture people. More useful than the cards they hand out.

Five more days until Vegas trip. I promise to behave this time. No spilled drinks even.
