luxor/excaliber pool question

how strict are they about bringing in items in your tote bag. do they check the bags or room key at addmission. would like to bring in a couple of waters and drinks and do not want to pay 7-10 dollars for water or a coke, as already paying for the use of pool in thew resort fee.

thanks for your help

Use of the swimming pool is not one of the items covered by the resort fee at either property. So now that you know you're using the pool with no fee, you can afford to buy the drinks!

I have seen people bring in water bottles and sodas to the Luxor pool as well as Starbucks coffee which was purchased in casino or hotel vending machines ( not bringing in coolers, however). Small snacks and small bottles of soda/water in a tote should not be a problem. They do check room keys.

They look in the bags for glass, booze, knives, etc. Don't roll a cooler down and don't bring 20 things and you're fine. Especially if you have little ones.

I have never been asked for my room key or had my bag checked @Luxor pool. And they do let people bring in outside drinks that are not alcohol.
