Freemont St.

Looking for a good restaurant on or near Freemont St., not a buffet. Our favorite used to be Firefly in the Plaza, but heard it was no longer there:( Suggestions Please!!!!

Most of the restaurants (not the buffet, etc) in the Golden Nugget are very good. Look at the top five on the left-side list:

I ate at the steakhouse in the El Co once and wouldn't go back, but others seem to like it.

Like Dave said, The Flame at Elco is the lowest end Steakhouse on Fremont. Better value can be had elsewhere like Hugo's or Oscar's.

Firefly went buzzing to never never land, which is now Oscar's Steakhouse, which isn't getting good reviews, you know him, he was the former mayor of Vegas, now it's his wife who's the mayor. The only good thing about Firefly was the view, sorry we had the tapas there, when it was opened...bleh! We do like the Grotto at the Golden Nugget, for a decent atmosphere, and the food is awesome! We might try the Chart House also at the Golden Nugget, just google this place.
