More new ?'s re Harrah's 30 Mill Food Vouchers

Please help:

1) When you go around to collect your "stamps" I realize you swipe your rewards card, but do you also have to show ID to prove that the card you are swipping is yours?

2) Do the people who oversee the "stamping" ever change shifts during the day?

3) When you hand in your stamped passport to get the voucher do they check ID? or for that matter do they check ID when you use the voucher once it has been issued?

Ok, why the questions you ask -- well my grandma is 92 next week and she has a hard time getting around. It would be difficult for her to get to all of the casinos to get the stamps, but I could use her card and go around to all of the casinos twice (and let her play slots for an hour or so with my card while I use hers) as long as they don't check ID anywhere along the process!

Does that all make sense? Is that being too greedy?

All thoughts and comments appreciated. Thanks.

1. They do check your ID every time they give you a stamp

2. Im not sure if they change shifts. But there are a number of people in each casino doing the stamping at any given time.

3. Since you get your voucher at the same time as you get your last stamp, they do check your id. As I said above, every time you get a stamp they check your id. They also write down your players card number when they give you your voucher. They DONT however check your id when you use your voucher.

Remember that you can use more then one voucher at a time...and they can add up quickly. However the lines to get stamps can sometimes be long. If you arent interested in getting your players card swiped for the chance to win additional prizes, you can often just cut to the front of the line and ask for a quick stamp. The casinos are also trying to cut down on the long lines by having one person go through the lines stamping the cards and checking ID.

If you're willing to spend a bit of time lining up, this promotion is definately worth it. It can save you alot of money

Thanks for the info. It's not a matter of not wanting to stand in line, but I can only get $30 worth each day and I'm only going to be there 1.5 days. I just figured if I could "kill two birds with one stone" so to say, I could get my $30 and my grandma's $30 in one day and then do it all again the next day. Otherwise, I am limited to only my $30 each day since she's not so mobile . . . Oh, well. It was worth it to ask. Never know otherwise, right?

Thanks again.

Husband and I collect $120 in vouchers last trip. We never had to show ID. There was some documentation I read that they did reserve the right to ID people whenever using their Rewards card. However, if you try to scan your card (thus, also get a stamp), it will come up on their computer that you already swiped there earlier in the day. The lines at some locations were quite long, so I am not sure if they would notice if you went through twice. I assume they do not change personnel, as the hours are only 12- 5 daily.

I went earlier this month, and did this promotion two days in a row. I wasn't asked for ID to get any stamps, but was asked for ID each time I got a food voucher, and each time that my swipe won me something.

Ok. Good to know, whitesoxgal. I guess I will just carry along her card when I do on my trek to each casino and "feel it out" for myself. It won't matter if I go through the line twice if they don't check ID's because I will be swiping a different card each time. So, I'll see what happens when I get there next week! Can't wait!

BTW - aren't you supposed to be there already, whitesoxgal? For some reason, I thought you were there right now . . . humm?

Good luck whenever you are there! :-)

fletch 27 - that's a good point. I didn't even think I might WIN something! Wouldn't that just take the cake that the one time I would WIN something would be if I were using her card ! ! ! ! ! !

I guess I'll scrap that idea . . . . .

Thanks everyone for the info though. It was all valuable!

Hi just got back from LV and I was told by a Flamingo worker that in July the food discount coupons are going away. What will happen is with 3 stamps you get a key chain and 6 stamp you get a t shirt.

They probably should stop the food vouchers. When so many people keep thinking of ways to cheat the system... It ruins a good thing for all of us.
