Dining on the strip

Anyone have any recommendations on where 4 of us could have a nice dinner that won't cost us an arm and a leg? We would like to dress up one night, go out to dinner, then see Zumanity at NYNY and then go dancing. We'd like a nice place to eat where we won't look out of place dressed up but one that's also has a nice but non-pretensious atmosphere...nothing too stuffy. Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks!

Olives at Bellagio. Make reservations for 5:00pm, and then get in line as close to 4:30pm as possible. This should get you a table on the patio. You will get to see a few fountain shows during dinner, and also get to see the strip light up as the sun sets. Amazing!!!

Or, if not Olives, cross the street and try Mon Ami Gabi at the Paris. There too, you can sit outside on the patio to enjoy your dinner and according to Trip Advisor it is rated 20 of 3498 restaurants in town. Great food and a very nice staff.

Agree on Gallaghers in NYNY, and right across the street in MGM there are several great choices.

Where are you staying?

I would also highly recommend Olives. If you decide to go there, their Butternut Squash Tortelli pasta is incredible--you could share it as a primi...making me hungry now!!!

@ Sue...I guess $100-$150 for two people. Is that unrealistic for Vegas?
