My BF is attending the SEMA show in November (I will have a badge as well) and while I think it will be a cool show, since this is my first time there I want to see more than just the show. I know the guys will be spending most of their 9 to 5 time at the show, but I am hoping to be able to spend some of my own time exploring. We are staying at the Mirage, and I guess we have to make our way to the convention center each morning, and then I would think we would hit the strip, and see some sights afterwards. I am not a smoker or a gambler, so while I want to *see* the casinos, I don't anticipate spending much time in them. We get there Tues morning and leave Sat morning...so not a huge amount of time. I know there are a million must-see sights...but if anyone has suggestions on how to make the best use of my (our) time, I'd love to hear them. (I think one thing I would enjoy is the Cirque Beatles show...I believe it is at the Mirage, so that seems like a no-brainer?) He has been there a few times, so I know he's not going to be as interested in seeing everything as I am. Thanks in advance!
