The Best Shows in Vegas to see in four nights!!

We are a couple in our 50's visiting Vegas for the first time. What are some of the shows we shouldn't miss? I keep hearing about this Fremont area. Should we visit that and when, day or night? I would also like to visit Pawn Stars. We are staying at Harrahs as I had reward points. Does anyone know if they have Wifi, how much it costs, or should I bring my MI-FI with verizon?

Thanks for all the help,

A North Carolina girl

Asking what the best shows are is a little like asking what are the best shows on TV. Ten different people could give you ten different answers. Provide a few clues about your tastes in entertainment to get more help.

With four nights you have the time to visit Fremont Street. Defintiely do so in the evening.

Wi-Fi for one device is covered by the resort fee at Harrah's. If you're Total Rewards Platinum or higher, the fee is optional but if you need internet access it probably makes sense to pay it regardless.

I'm sure Pawn Stars fans will advise you on the best way to visit but also try a forum search - it's asked about a lot.

Absinthe is the only show that you will not hear varied opinions on, its vulgar, great acrobatics, small theater so all seats are good seats. We have seen almost everything on the strip but Absinthe is the only show we recommend to everyone. Carrot Top is also very good and hard not to have a good time if Absinthe is too expensive.

My opinion of best shows are Love, Ka, and Donny and Marie.

Fremont St is the old strip and is what is considered downtown. It's a short strip of older casinos all under a canopy. After dark a light show is shown on the canopy. It's free for all to see. I consider it a must, even though downtown is not my thing in general.

Don't miss at least one fountain show in front of Bellagio. Also free for the looking. Not sure about wifi at Harrahs. I'm sure they have it, I'm just not sure if its extra or if they have a resort fee that covers it.

In my 50's-- mine are the Beatles "Love" at Mirage, "O" at Bellagio, KA at MGM, and Carrot Top, These I would see again and again. On the cheaper venue Mike Hammer downtown at Four Queens is good - we had a buy one get one free coupon. We loved seeing Jeff Civilico when he was with Nathan Burton and now he has his own show at the Quad -- there used to be free or $10 tickets out there. People are saying a lot of positive things about Raiding the Rock Vault at LVH.

Haven't seen the Cirque Michael Jackson show (MJ One), and I am opposed to celebrating his wacked-out life in any form, but there does seem to be good reviews for the show. The fact that they aren't discounting tickets might mean Cirque has a hit on it's hands. So you should consider it.
