Saturday we have lunch reservations at Mon Ami Gabi at 11:30am, picked lunch on Sat since on weekends Bellagio fountains start at noon. After we’re up and finally ready it’s perfect timing. There is plenty of room out on the patio at this time. Watching the fountains there was great, it looks amazing when the water goes higher than the building. I ordered steak with blue cheese sauce which was so tasty, and better than my friend’s steak sandwich. They are huge portions with tons of crispy fries, yummy!
Then off to work, to get all our stamps for the day. After all of them today we will have our $60 each of food credits. Much less lines today so it wasn’t too bad. Then we have time to kill before going to Live Price is Right show. This is when our luck for the trip finally changes. In Barbary Coast I pick a craps table, they are all $5 tables there. Picked one that had started clearing out. All amazing rolls! I was the 3rd one to roll and stopped after that, up $140. Happy to have won back money plus more.
We go to Bally’s for the show and there’s a big line to go in so we sit down for a bit until it dies down. I’m sitting in front of $1 slots with 2 credits max so might as well try it. After a few spins I won something, so I cash out soon up $20. As long as I’m up at all, I’m happy.
In Price is Right our seats are at a table way up front, which aren’t as comfy as the theater seats, but kind of fun since you are sitting with others at a table. To get up to bid you have to answer questions using your keypad, but apparently we are never fast enough to get up there – you gotta be quick! It was a fun show, one guy won $1200, and others won some good items. The showcase was kind of disappointing, it included a car and lots of other great stuff, but since both contestants overbid neither won anything. Can’t believe they only get that one chance. Plus unless someone was within $500 they would have only won the washer/dryer.
We go back to start getting ready for dinner and the night. We had reservations for Nobu at Hard Rock, my favorite restaurant the last trip. Hard Rock was fun and lots of hot guys. Nobu was excellent as usual, the freshest Japanese seafood ever. My favorite dishes are Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapeno and Black Cod (ask for the lettuce wraps). It was fun taking my friend there to try it – she loved it. After dinner my friend wants to walk around the hotel (because of the guys), and we talk to one that’s probably had a lot to drink. Then back to Caesar’s since we are going to Pure.
It’s early and we already see people starting to line up for Pure. It’s not open yet so I don’t want to go stand in line, plus we get to go in the girls line so I didn’t think it would be THAT bad. When we get back later it IS that bad. The lines are crazy there. We get in line and it is actually really fun meeting all the girls. Like one group there for a bachelorette party. Funny thing was by the time (like almost 2 hrs!) we got to the front of the line most of those girls including the bachelorette have gone off, and only 4 of them left to go in. The bachelorette (who was smashed) and a friend went over to hang out with some guys in the sports area and had left with them. There was also crazy stuff like other girls trying to be sneaky about cutting in the line – we were making a human barrier to stop them.
We finally get into Pure and it is a nice, big place with different rooms. You can go in an elevator to get to the patio area which has great views. At least it was worth the wait, and it started getting so packed that they are sardines on the big dance floor. We spent lots of time on the patio, it was relaxing and more laid back there. My friend hangs out with a guy who said at first he’s a dolphin trainer (I knew he was joking) and turns out he’s a Dr. I’m happy for her since she’s starting to make better choices in guys! Oh, and we’re ordering chocolate martinis and they cost $20 – ouch. So it was good at least that guy paid for a couple of them. :) After another late and crazy night there we walk back to the room to crash.
Stay tuned! My favorite day is yet to come…
