Wynn offer

Well I got an offer from the Wynn for three free nights and $110 in slot play, when checking the dates online it said make sure to ask about the free upgrade to a king suite at Encore. So whick one would you stay at the Wynn or the Encore? Never have stayed at either one before, so any tips?

Thanks

Encore's rack rates are higher. Different hotels really.

How old are you?

What other places do you like in Vegas?

The Encore. Both the Wynn & Encore Towers are nice, but The Encore to me is a better experience overall. But whichever you choose, you won't be disappointed. I have stayed at The Encore & loved the more laid back feeling of the casino & the it's rooms.

I've stayed at Encore and loved the rooms/casino but most of our dining was at Wynn - if you're travelling in pool season note that Encore guests can use Wynn pools but the reverse does not apply.

Thanks for the info. Think when I call to book the offer I'll see if the Encore uprade is still available. I find it funny I haven't gave the Encore/Wynn any play in over 5 years and out of the blue I get an offer for 3 nights and free play.

So the next question would be which route to take to get there? I think Swanson to Paradise to Sands Ave, then Las Blvd.

We prefer Wynn. We prefer the open floor plan of the Wynn room over the semi-divided plan of those at Encore. We also prefer the pool, and find we spend most of our time dining and gambling at Wynn, so it makes more sense for us to stay there.

Yeagergirl: To my knowledge no casino has ever made comp room offers available to the public. These all come through Players Club accounts.

I also prefer Wynn. I don't like the Encore casino and even though it's only a (long) corridor walk from Wynn, it seems like a hotel away. Wynn casino seems livelier. My restaurant choices are at Wynn (although I love Society Cafe for breakfast) and I personally like the open area of the standard Wynn rooms better than the segmented Encore ones

If you go in the winter, the Encore pooled closed, guests must use the Wynn pool.
