No packages that I am aware of. You will need to book these independently.

You will need to rent a car to go to the grand canyon or take a bus trip to see the Grand Canyon. Most bus trips leave early in the morning from Vegas and get back about 10pm. It takes about 5 hours one way to get there; but it is worth seeing if that is what you want to do.

Lots of threads with information on bus trips if you use the search function.

Have a great trip!

Okay thanks,

I have seen the walking strip on Youtube .

The Las Vegas Strip is an approximately 4.2-mile (6.8 km) stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard South in Clark County, Nevada.

Where should i stay to walk around this Las Vegas strip? Allot of shopping areas around there.

Realistically "the strip" is the 2.7 mile stretch of Las Vegas Blvd from Mandalay Bay on the south end to Wynn/Encore on the north end. Officially it goes further north, but the stretch north of Encore is pretty empty.

There are about two dozen casino/hotels in that stretch in all price ranges. What the date of your visit and your budget? Friday and Saturday nights are always double or triple other nights of the week. A busy convention can make rates even higher.

I realize you're coming a long ways, but two nights, only one full day, it not really enough time to see both Vegas and Grand Canyon National Park. I'd pick one and spend both nights there. If you're flying into Vegas, pick Vegas. Save GCNP for a trip when you have more time.

I intend to go on 5 and 6 the Feb which is a weekday. I can go for 3 nights but i have other plans unless i really have to. What i want is to stay 2 nights in one of the convenient strip hotel and enjoy that full day and night. Then the next day go to Royal Canyon Park, one day trip and to Vancouver. Do you think i should go Royal Canyon Park? I would also like to walk the shopping strip areas in the day. A bit tight on this trip but hope to accomplish my trip to see the LV and have a fill of the places around the strip hotels.

The first hotel on the "strip" is Mandalay Bay. That's at the very south end. Technically the last hotel is Stratosphere but its quite removed from the action therefore a lot of people consider Encore the Northern end of the strip.

Stratosphere has never been considered to be on the strip. The now-closed Sahara is officially the north end. Unofficially, its Encore, in my opinion.

Royal Canyon Park? You mean Grand Canyon National Park? Yes, its worth seeing. But if you arrive on Feb 5 you will have one night in Vegas. Then you need to get up fairly early and drive five hours to get to the park. You want to be there before dark. Sunset is about 6:00 PM that time of year. You lose one hour on the drive, so you need to be out of Vegas by 11:00 AM. Stores open about 10:00 AM, so you better hit the mall on the 5th. Are you flying out of Vegas on the 7th to Vancouver? If so, you'll need to leave the park at least seven hours before your flight, though you do gain back that hour you lost.

This is just too short of a trip for everything you want to see. Either commit to Vegas or commit to GCNP.

There are five major malls on the strip, north to south:

Fashion Show Mall - a large, typical American mall.

Grand Canal Shoppes at Venetian/Palazzo - high end

Forum Shops between Caesars and Mirage - sort of high end, with some touristy shops.

Crystals at City Center - VERY high end.

Miracle Mile at Planet Hollywood - also a typical American mall, a step down (IMHO) from Fashion Show

In addition there are numerous other stores in the hotels and casinos.

You've still not given a budget, so hard to recommend a hotel. Lacking a budget, check out Treasure Island, Mirage and Venetian/Palazzo. TI is cheapest, V/P most expensive. All are in the same area and will give you quick access to the first three malls in that list, as well as the VERY high end shopping at Wynn.

I think i will book Harrah's Las Vegas. Is this a hotel near to Wynn ? Wynn is a good and expensive hotel. Staying nearby i can get there to see that hotel. Is Harrah's Las Vegas a good location hotel to stay? Since i intend to stay only 2 nights, i decided not to go Royal Canyon Park. I probably will go there next time. I would prefer another half day tour in las Vegas .What do you recommend? As i said i will like to walk the city center and the night strip areas.

By the way, any local transportation or buses going center from this hotel ?

After my 2 nights stay , i will fly to Vancouver.

Do you think my arrangement is good enough for 2 nights stay? By the way, how far is this hotel from airport? Any shutter bus going to this hotel?

I do not think there is any place near vegas called "Royal Canyon Park".

Harrah's is a low end hotel, but its fine for a place to stay. Should be pretty cheap. Its close to Wynn, Fashion Show Mall, Grand Canal Shoppes and Forum shops. You will be right on the strip, on the northern part, but not at the northern end.

Your best choice to get from the airport to the hotel is a taxi. The second choice, if you're trying to save money, is one of the shuttles. There are numerous shuttles and you can find one right at the airport. Its possible to take the city buses, but you will have to take two and it will be only a few dollars cheaper than the shuttle.

You will be right on the strip. There will be plenty to see and do for your short visit. By "city center" you may mean "downtown". Don't bother. Its interesting, but you just don't have time. You will keep busy right on the strip.
