Platinum Member - Resort Fees

Arriving 12th Jan for 4 nights.

Couple of questions regarding my newly acquired Platinum Member status.

1. Am I exempt from Resort Fees

2. Is there a separate check-in section at The Quad for Platinum members?

Many thanks...:-)

Somehow platinum member and Quad seems a strange combination

Hahaha

I was waiting for that...:-))

Coming from UK, a lot of my $$$ goes on flights, so I never turn down a free room.

Plus I got 3 others, for friends at $15 per night as well.

Their rooms won't likely be exempt from the fees. However, remember that it does also eliminate the few benefits that go with the resort fee (internet, etc).

I have seen very well dressed 7Star members at Quad. It has it's followers. Also previously (and from what I am hearing - still) had some of the best drink service on the strip.

Thought that may be the case, regards the other 3 rooms, but still a good deal all round.

No resort fee and yes, the Quad has a separate area for platinum and up members.

"If you are a platinum player, you should be able to get free rooms at many other CET locations"

Not entirely true, your comps and free room offers are based on your past play and not your card level. There are many Gold card holders that get better offers than some Platinium or Diamond members. hey may not ne there long enough to make the higher level card but their ADT is higher which results in better offers that someone who is there a lot to make the higher level but does not have a ADT

can you explain to me what you mean by being a platinum member? do you have to be a gambler to be a member?

Probably best if I leave that one to others who can explain it better than I.

Often wondered if I could use the Platinum status to get comp rooms at other hotels.

I was a Gold member when I went in July and stayed at The Paris with a heavy discount. I earned Platinum during this visit.

Do you think it's worth ringing and seeing if they would give me the same deal at the Paris?
