Golden Nugget free chips for a conference

Hello all,

I have received offers for free slot play or other promotions before, but this seemed new to me. At an upcoming conference, for being a sponsor to the event, my company receives "$75 in casino chips". Since I am the only employee for my company attending, I get the chips. But how does this promotion work? Will it be like other slot/gaming promotions and require me to play for a while before maybe being lucky enough to cash out, or will I be able to use the $75 almost as cash and as I see fit? Thanks for any insight

The chips usually have no cash value themselves. You will play them and if you win will get paid in real chips you can cash at the cage.

They will probably be promotional chips. As Alex H. stated, you bet them like real chips. Any winnings from your bets will be paid in real chips. If you win, you also keep the promo chip to bet again (until you lose). They work like real chips in all facets except that you cannot take them to the cage and get cash for them. Do not bet with any of the real chips you win as long as you still have some promo chips.

At $5-$10 per hand at BJ, you should be able to turn the promo chips into $50+ in real money if you win/lose at a 50/50 rate.
