Id like to hear what website you've gotten your best trip bargain on for flight and hotel.

Thanks

Hi

From the UK always use airlines direct. But hotels the best deal I have got in the past was through travelzoo.

Well you're in NY, so figure out what airports are options for you and find out what carriers fly out of there. There's no magic site to get better flight deals in the US. Use bing.com/travel to track the major carriers, and then Southwest.com has their flights on their site.

For hotels, use a site like smartervegas.com . This site provides discount/promo codes and allows you to book directly with the hotel.

Some folks find they can book separately and get the better deal, and some have better luck with packages, depending on your airport. Use expedia.com and try a package deal and compare it to the price you would get by booking separately. Also, some airlines allow for packages, too, and occasionally have hotel discounts attached, so search that out as well.

There's no 1 way or best way to do. Many have reported better results for them using different sites and methods, depending on timing of the trip and the airport and airline you use.
