Hertz Corvette rental.

Hi there.

Was looking for someone who has tried to rent a Corvette Convertible in San Francisco Airport / Around town recently.

I'm coming back for the summer, and would love to go, but right now i'm changing my mind between the Corvette and the Camaro SS convertible.

If the Corvette is a newer model (2012 and up) i've got no doubts that i would go with the Corvette, even if it's got a small trunk.

On a side question, does anyone know if 2 normal sized sports bag would fit in, or should we come with "close to carry on bagage" ?

In advance, thank you for taking your time to help me, it's very appreciated :-)

Ps: Yes, i've putted in the SFO Forums also ;-)

I rented the Corvette twice from LAS and I have another rental booked for Feb. I am hoping they have some new C7s in by then, but I'm not getting my hopes up. They keep cars like that on the fleet for a while so they will most likely by C6s. But even knowing that its a no brainer over a Camaro for me personally.

The Corvette feels like something a bit special, like a supercar (even though it isn't really I know), but the Camaro just feels like a slightly suped-up 'normal' car.

You will easily get 2 sports bags in the trunk.

We have a Corvette. Two duffel type bags will fit in the trunk and some jackets and not much more. Two sets of golf clubs,....forget it.

Duffel bags works for me. I'll go with the Vette! :)

The Camaro is a fun car, but the Vette is in a totally different category to drive. Depending on how tall you are, you can adjust the powers seats a bit forward and can put a small bag behind you. Have fun!

I'm about 6ft tall, so maybe that was a solution too :)

I rented a V6 Mustang Convertible from the Budget across from Orleans Casino 3 years ago and it was dialed back, almost gutless. My Corolla was quicker.

Interested to hear your experiences, I haven't rented since. Please post back.

I've just paid 900$ for the corvette for 16 days. Thought that was a fair deal.
