Vegas on a Budget...?

As previously posted on this forum, me and my husband are heading to Vegas this Sunday (Jan 26) and returning Jan 28, we're recently married and really trying to enjoy the experience. However we do have a budget. I'm hoping you guys can offer suggestions for free or low priced activities, meals, etc.

Our hotel is booked (the Excalibur) and we're driving from Los Angeles so those things are definite.

A few things I have on my list are:

The Gondola rides at The Venetian (anyone know the prices?)

The Flamingo Habitat at the Flamingo

The Bellagio Fountain Show and Volcano Eruption

I'd love more suggestions...

You know that the Volcano is at Mirage and not Bellagio?

The fountains are outside of Bellagio, but make sure you also go inside and see the Conservatory, which is now decorated for Chinese New Year.

Gondola rides are $19/person. If I were visiting on a budget I'm not sure they would be on my to do list.

Remember that you can get find restaurant.com and groupon deals for Vegas. Here is a groupon for 2 drinks at Rhumbar (Mirage) that looks interesting:

Even on a budget- newlyweds (recently married) I'd take a meal that might be $100- do in & out or something and spend the money onthe gondola's.

I know there are discounts. It's aVegas thing you kinda need to do. You might befirend someone before you go- give them your camera and have them move down and take a few pics- allowing you to skip the $40 pics you;ll have the chance to buy

If the weather is nice, you might think about going up the Eiffel Tower replica at the Paris Hotel. The price is $5 cheaper during the day ($11.50 per person). Going just before sunset is ideal.

Another vote here for the Eiffel Tower to take some pics.

One other suggestion, if you can, take a trip to Fremont in the evening to watch the canopy show - plus I find it a bit cheaper down there!

Heres Eiffel tower 2for1

lasvegas-nv.com/coupons/eiffel-tower-paris-l…

it seemed when we went (at night) they have different rates for almost each hour. But worth it.

I think I was wrong regarding the Gondola's- there arent discounts- but I'd still do it.

Minus 5 is often on groupon- and something only done in Vegas, if you catch a discount
