Are you talking about the "robbed at gunpoint" one?

Of course it should be removed. The reviewer didn't even stay at the hotel, he/she is posting some purported incident that happened to someone else.

I think the review was written by someone that wasn't present, so it should be removed.

I also have a very difficult time believing if what was written really happened was handled by security the way the reviewer said it was, therefore I have a difficult time believing the story.

I think if it's true the surveillance tapes from the elevators will have caught it.

I also doubt a business like Caesars would cover up an armed robbery of one of their guests.

I'd think that security would have called Metro with the guest as they were taking the report, and if they didn't I wonder why the guest didn't demand that they do.

Security's primary purpose is to protect the assets of the casino. Protect yourself and do not count on them to do anything for you. Including calling the police.

i don't know if the story is true or not. however, if anything like that happened to me, i'd call 911 myself and not depend on the casino to notify the police.

Me too diane

I feel the mitigating issue is that the guest involved is both too ill & or too incapacitated to followup with the authorities let alone write the tripadvisor review.

Here is the whole review. I see nothing said about the guest being unable to write a review. And why would you be too incapacitated to write a report themselves, but they want a relative to write one for them? Seems like the last thing most of us would be worrying about. "I just got robbed. I'm injured. Please go to Tripadvisor and make sure you tell everyone". :)

"My 70 year old brother was robbed at gunpoint and suffered some injuries on the elevator going to his room. Where is the security at this hotel. They did nothing and I don't even think the police were contacted about this crime. This would hurt their money business. The police know about it now and an investigation is now hopefully in the works. My brother has had open heart surgery and needless to say this has traumatized him mentally as well as physically. I think Caesars should take care of his loss and pay for the psychological help he will probably need. This is just wishful thinking because they don't care and will do nothing. "

I'll put about as much stock in this story as I do the many "my in room safe was robbed" stories. Fiction.
