Trip to las Vegas

Hi everyone

I'm going to Las Vegas with 8 people. actually I have to coordinate the whole trip. we will be leaving from Miami and arrinving in LAX then we will drive to Las Vegas.

This is our first time in Las Vegas and we have no idea about where we should stay at.

we want to be all together or stay in 2 rooms at least. we would love to be close to the strip.

BTW we are looking for something nice and cheap! we are all students so our budget is not good enough to stay in a 5 stars hotel :)

Thanks in advance.

John

When are you coming and what's the nightly hotel budget?

Note that Sun-Thurs is usually much cheaper than Fri/Sat.

Are you all over 21?

With 8 guys you're realistically looking a 4 rooms, 2 queen beds in each. Take a look at Luxor & Excalibur down a the south end of the strip. Not always the most convenient location but cheap. The Quad (formerly Imperial Palace) has an excellent location and used to be the budget winner but prices have been going up there as they've started to renovate the public spaces (and eventually the rooms).

As suggested above, your exact dates will be dictate the room rates & your budget will pick your hotel.

$150/night for all 8 of you or for each one of you?

I am someone who believes that there is never a bad time to go to Las Vegas, but 4 beds for 8 guys wouldn't work for me. But then again I'm a long way past 21...

As Tony said, check Smartervegas.com for discounts, also follow/friend the hotels on twitter and Facebook.

Less expensive Strip hotels would include Excalibur, The Quad, and maybe Ballys/Harrahs/Flamingo. Avoid Circus Circus and Stratosphere as they're not in the main part of the Strip.

7. Re: Trip to las Vegas

thus far, what you've said has fallen far short of enough information to help you.

As asked $100-150; what is that?

8 people. How many are you thinking in a room?

Do you realize a room on Wed March 12th is $89 and on Frieday March 14th $399? SAMEROOM.

Exact dates.

Exact $$ per person per night for Hotel

If you want the help- $$PP food/day

I can guess and tell you as Vegans, The Wynn is famous for their Vegan menu's. And if you get back to me with you aren't Vegans, then I've wasted my time guessing who you are and what you want.

One more tip:

Just suggested to another guy posting- 5 guys in their 30's, looking for party and pool- POST what you are asking.

Who is going to decide to read your post with the title you have. Put the info you need help with

College kids should stay at Cosmo, Planet Hollywood, or Ceasers. If money is really tight though I say luxor or New York New York.

How nice do you want the room to be? Will you spend much time in the room anyway? For cheap rooms check Planet Hollywood, Luxor, Hard Rock, and Hooters. Hard Rock and Hooters are slightly off the Strip. Luxor is at the south end of the Strip. Circus Circus and Riviera both have cheap rooms too, but I don't recommend either one.
