Advice on Treasure Island wedding @ pirate ship please

Has someone been to Treasure Island very recently (2014) and knows what's happening outside with the pirate ship please? We are due to get married on the ship in April and keep picking up rumours about the place being a construction site as the hotel is putting in more shops. Anyone able to share news / photos please? Need lots of reassurances that it'll all be fine :-)

There are two live webcams of the Pirate ship at http://www.lasvegaswebcams.com/ I can't see any construction in the immediate area.

i would contact whoever you organised to have the wedding on the boat with.

From the news reports the Sirens show has been cancelled and it makes it sound like theyre removing the boat to put some shops in.

Though i don't know why they would want to lose the boat when it must surely be the hotels biggest attraction.

The Sirens show like the old pirate show before it attracted large crowds. The only problem from TI's point of view is that the crowds were out on the sidewalk, not inside gambling or spending money elsewhere in the property! It's always been a popular attraction but one that's never given much to TI in terms of revenue.

Someone has to say it-

I very much doubt based upon the printed stories-

I do not think you will have access to the ship.

I believe the previous 4 all were leading you in that direction.

This is too important to rely on opinion or 2nd hand information. Bive them a call.

I drove past it Saturday morning and it is gone with construction barriers all around it.
