CET rates

Why do CET rates constantly change? We've been checking the past couple of weeks for April and the rates are constantly changing. Is this common? We haven't booked a flight yet but I think we may book the next hotel deal that pops up...we can always cancel. Do rates get higher the closer you get to the trip?

"Why do CET rates constantly change?" - It's called the law of supply and demand, the best advice is book when you see a price you're happy to pay as long as it's a refundable booking so you can cancel if rates fall but you're protected against rate increases.

Yes. It is common with most hotels. Rates depend on events, weekday/weekend, and even if there are no events. When there is an event the rates tend to go up as the event gets closer. Rates tend to go down as a date is getting closer when there are no events. Then there are seasonal specials and etc.
