obsessive checking pays off

already booked the rental car for our trip, but I kept checking the rates every other day or so. yesterday I rebooked a car in a higher class for 85 bucks less than our original booking. more money to play with!

Congrats! However, it may be a bit more helpful if you shared what company you booked with and what type of car. :)

Same here! We originally booked a standard car with thrifty for 295 Tuesday through the next Tuesday. But last night I was re checking and when I saw that overall rates dipped I switched to enterprise and booked a premium car for 203.00

Yes, the rates seem to be good today, maybe it's because it's the last day of the month. I just booked an intermediate with EZ for 9 days for about $175.

It's actually less money to play with if you rent a car.

Canceling the car would be more money to play with!

we always rent with Dollar, have never had a problem with them..I also obsessively check prices, and will change over and over if the price goes down.We are not going until May31 but so far for the week we can get a midsize car for 160..I think that's pretty good

Thrifty doing a $15/day right now. Just booked using the "wild card" for $17/day or $144 total for 5 days.

Best deal I've found for our trip next week.

since my last post, I locked in a midsize at Dollar for 110.00 for 6night 7 days. I had booked at a much higher price, but then I checked 2 time the other day, I secured this little deal..
