I thing the Gold Coast breakfast buffet is among the best bargains in Vegas. $6.95, but you can save $1 off of that if you have a free players card. There is a free shuttle from Bally's.

Keep shopping for things like hotels and rental cars. Prices fluctuate daily, and as long as you can cancel without penalty, you can save $$$ if you keep checking often.

Doesn't work for show tickets and airfare, obviously, since these are typically non-refundable.

Before booking, always check www.smartervegas.com and www.travelzoo.com for show discounts, hotel promos, etc.

I love hearing about money saving tips. One of my favorites is to bring a small coffee pot and paper cups with lids to make coffee in the room. I drink some in the room while getting ready in the morning then bring some with me to drink while walking around in the morning.

Here's another vote for Groupons. I bought 3 for our upcoming trip. They are all at places that we like, and have been to before.

I'd recommend always signing up for players cards at the casinos. Many times, there are rewards (free play, buffet coupons, etc.) just for signing up. Down the road, there could be comps for rooms and food which would save money on future trips.

The days of cheap buffets are long gone... with that said, Vegas does offer a ton of relatively inexpensive dining options for all meals. If a buffet is something you want to do, consider going for breakfast which is usually the least expensive and could probably hold you over until early dinner time...

Find out what the free attractions are around the Strip and off (if you have transportation) and enjoy those - the Bellagio Fountains and conservatory are two great examples.
