Well who on here wants to buy a casino?
Maybe I will put in a bid after I win the Lion's Share this weekend.
"who on here wants to buy a casino?" Well, that is the problem. The Cosmo casino side is way underperforming. It's improved but still way off of what that place needs to pencil out.
I'd bet my hard earned money that MGM int. will end up buying the property! Makes a perfect business model.
I wonder what it'd take for the LV casinos to start making money again. Because it definitely isn't thousands of ppl going everyday and spending tons of money.
No, that doesn't seem to be working.
Interesting.. I have never gambled more then 5 mins inside the Cosmo but it is a beautiful casino. I just cant sit in it for long.. I don't know maybe its the layout of the casino that drives me away .
Totally agree with the previous comment. Great looking building etc but I'd never gamble there. Can't put my finger on why, it's just not for me.
The Cosmo is already between Bellagio and CityCenter, all MGM properties. It is much more likely that MGM buys it than CET. They should have a 50% off sale haha, maybe that'll get it going.
Cosmo sent out 2 free nights to basically anyone that walked through there before, they wanted more gambling, the DB factor(clubgoers) aren't bring in the money they need to operate that hotel. I predicted it and was right. Thank me later
Neither MGM or CET is in any position to buy the Cosmo thank god.
The problem is, yes they offered two nights to people who were already there but who knows when these people could go back to Vegas, it could be years because you still need money for food, airfare, gambling, etc. Just offer two nights for free when you book 1 (not inflated) night. No blackout dates.
So this is why they are offering two "comped" tickets for inflated rates, that's not gonna work either. A huge discount would work much better than two "free" tickets.
